What You'll Learn
This course prepares you for the MB-330 certification exam, covering all official exam domains and their approximate weightings:
Domain 1 Implement product information management (27.5%)
- Create and release products and product variants; create BOMs and BOM versions; configure category hierarchies
- Configure inventory, storage, tracking, and product dimension groups; item model groups; reservation hierarchies; unit sequence groups
- Create/assign bar codes and GTIN codes; configure product unit conversions and default order settings
- Configure and maintain costing versions (standard/planned costs); price groups; trade agreements (prices/discounts)
Domain 2 Implement inventory and asset management (22.5%)
- Create and process inventory journals (BOM, item arrival, output, transfer, movement, adjustment, counting) and transfer orders
- Configure inventory closing/adjustment process, blocking, batch disposition codes, ABC classification reporting
- Manage quality: nonconformances, quality associations, quality/quarantine orders
- Configure asset management: work orders, assets/asset types, capacity, preventive/reactive maintenance, asset loans, lifecycle models
- Implement asset management: maintenance plans, functional locations, maintenance requests, work order consumption and scheduling
Domain 3 Implement and manage supply chain processes (17.5%)
- Implement procurement and sourcing: vendors, purchase requisitions/RFQs/POs, purchase agreements, vendor rebates, consignment inventory, vendor returns, procurement workflows
- Implement landed cost: landed cost parameters, voyage statuses, cost estimations, tracking control center, cost type codes and auto-costs
- Implement common sales and marketing features: customers, sales agreements, sales quotations/orders/returns, commissions, intercompany orders, customer rebates, ATP/CTP, product bundles
Domain 4 Implement warehouse management and transportation management (22.5%)
- Configure warehouse management: sites, warehouses, locations, work policies, location directives, wave/load/work templates, labels, packing, inbound/outbound processes
- Perform warehouse management processes: replenishment, load planning workbench, inventory movements via warehouse work, cycle counting, Warehouse Management mobile app, containerization, cross docking
- Implement transportation management: shipping carriers, load/shipment planning, freight bills/invoices, route plans/guides, dock appointment scheduling, freight reconciliation
- Implement the Warehouse Management mobile app: device menus/menu items, detours, install/configure app, manage warehouse workers
Domain 5 Implement master planning (12.5%)
- Configure master planning: coverage groups and item coverage, master planning parameters and master plans, positive/negative days, action messages/delay/time fences, period templates
- Manage master plans: run master planning and analyze results, evaluate/process planned purchase and transfer orders, Supply Schedule form, safety margins, safety stock journals
