Advanced Computer Vision Training

Computer Vision is a field of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science that aims at giving computers a visual understanding of the world. Computer Vision has been used in face recognition, autonomous cars, image search, optical character recognition, robotics vision, machine vision, and many applications. 

Computer Vision is undergoing rapid advances in recent years. In this course, you will learn state of the art computer vision techniques such Region-based CNN and YOLO techniques. You will also learn about convolutional neural network and transfer learning.

Computer Vision TrainerDr.Sai Manoj Prakhya currently is Principal Engineer for Autonomous Vehicle Technology company. He worked as research scientist in A*Star. He got his PhD in 3D Perception for Mobile Robotics from NUS in 2017. His expertise are Self-Driving Cars, 3D Mapping and Localization, Sensor Fusion and Object Tracking, Mobile Robotics, 3D Perception, PCL (Point Cloud Library), ROS (Robot Operating System), Deep Learning, PIC Microcontroller, C, C++, Python, MATLAB.

Computer Vision TrainerWee Chee Hong is a veteran consultant in the field of Engineering Design. He has over 20 years experience in electronics/ IT industry with several MNCs including Compaq, Adaptec, Agilent, etc., with specialization in Automation System Design (drilling/ milling machine, 3D machine automation, machine data collection, test & measurement electronics design), Motion control design & applications. With wide technical skill set in development language/ tools .Net, Java, PowerBuilder to C++/ C/C#, he has also strong knowledge in development of firmware for microcontroller such as PIC, ARM and others.

Chee Hong graduated with a B.Eng degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering and holds a Master Degree of Technology from NUS.

Computer Vision Python TrainerJoel Foo graduated with a major in statistics and minor in computer science from NUS. He is well-versed in R and Python libraries/packages and has applied knowledge of statistics in data mining, time series analysis and deep learning. As the Business Intelligence Lead in an Israeli startup, Joel has experience in using BI tools such as Tableau to perform drill downs and harness insights from data. Currently, he is the co-founder and CEO of Geboto, a chatbot centric CRM platform for hospitality and F&B.

Machine Learning Computer Vision TrainerPushparaj Murugan has more than five years of research experiences in Industrial automation. He is specialized in Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, SciKit-Learn, Tensorflow, Keras, Theano, etc. He had his experience working for Caterpiller inc. in developing a user interface using Matlab programming combining finite element analysis. In addition, he also worked for ARDB (Aeronautical Research and Development Board) and DRDO ( Defence Research and Development Organisation) in India on various research projects. He is currently doing his research at Nanyang technological university for Rolls Royce intelligence manufacturing section. He is working on automation of robotic abrasive belt grinding process using deep learning frameworks such as CNN and LSTM.

Computer Vision TrainerMing Liang is an up-and-coming developer with expertise ranging from deep learning to hardware like the raspberry pi. He specialises mostly in the area of data science and machine learning and has won several hackathons and is ranked highly in international competitions. Furthermore, he has also done projects as part of the maker community in Singapore and build his own 3D printer as well

Should provide instructions to pre-load or install necessary software or library prior to the training day, so as not to waste time doing this during the training (Posted on 4/21/2019)
