Trainers

For Mr Tan Woei Ming, agentic automation is where software development and data science meet. He is an Instructor, Software Developer and Agentic Automation specialist at Tertiary Infotech and the trainer for Tertiary Courses' Agentic AI with n8n courses. Before turning to training, he built his industry career at Micron Technology, first as a Data Scientist and later as Data Science Lead, where he led AI initiatives in predictive analytics, automation and process optimisation in the semiconductor and manufacturing industries. He earned First-Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at NTU and a Master of Intelligent Systems at NUS, and he is an ACLP-certified trainer experienced in teaching adult professionals who need skills they can apply at work the following week. He brings the same structured, evidence-led approach he used in industry to the way he designs and reviews automations with learners.
This WSQ course is designed for professionals who want to combine low-code workflow orchestration with autonomous AI capabilities, and Mr Tan structures it as a progression of hands-on builds. Participants first design and run workflows in n8n, then introduce AI agents that handle variation and make decisions within a process instead of following fixed rules. They extend those workflows with webhooks and HTTP requests to connect external systems, and with Retrieval-Augmented Generation so that agents can draw on an organisation's own knowledge. The last topic covers human-in-the-loop controls, monitoring and security, which Mr Tan treats as essential rather than optional; his process-optimisation work taught him that automation only delivers value when people can trust and audit it. Expect a practical, question-friendly classroom in which every concept is tried immediately in a live workflow, with guidance on scoping a first automation project back at work.
n8n features in many of Dr. Alfred Ang's own projects, which gives WSQ Agentic AI Automation with n8n a strong practical foundation. He is a full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect specialising in agentic AI automation, AI chatbots and multi-agent systems, working with n8n alongside Langflow, Flowise, the OpenAI Agents SDK, the Google Gemini Agent SDK, the Claude Agent SDK, Microsoft AutoGen and CrewAI. As Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, he leads automation of customer service, internal workflows, analytics and decision support using LLMs, RAG pipelines and agents. His public GitHub portfolio contains a wide range of n8n builds: an n8n automation setup that adapts a Singapore auto-reply email workflow for Tertiary Courses Malaysia and Ghana with Gmail OAuth and MailerLite subscriber sync; an AI inventory audit and forecasting agent in which a local LLM running on Ollama reads stock levels and computes replenishment; a low-code, self-hosted IoT platform powered by n8n that connects Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi devices over MQTT and HTTP; a stock analysis dashboard with an n8n-powered Telegram AI agent; and a self-service HR portal with human-in-the-loop approval and a guarded OpenAI chatbot. He is a Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and AI Practitioner, CompTIA Security+ certified, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS and a Graduate Diploma in Intelligent Robotics Systems from NUS-ISS.
In this course he takes learners from simple workflows to agents that act safely on real data. Participants begin with workflow automation in n8n, learning triggers, nodes, credentials and data mapping, then move to agentic process automation, where AI agents reason about a task, call tools and decide the next step. He then covers webhooks and HTTP requests, the glue that lets n8n receive events from forms, apps and devices and call external services, drawing on the email, IoT and Telegram integrations in his own projects. The agentic RAG topic shows how to ground an agent in organisational documents so its answers and actions are based on current information rather than guesswork. The final topic, on human-in-the-loop, monitoring and security, reflects lessons from his HR portal and email automations: approval steps for consequential actions, input and output guardrails, careful credential handling, error workflows and execution logs that make an agent's behaviour visible. He also discusses when to use a hosted model and when a local model is the better choice for privacy or cost. Learners practise debugging failed executions, handling rate limits and retries, and structuring workflows so they remain readable and maintainable as they grow from a single automation into a set of cooperating agents. As an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, he teaches through guided builds, so learners leave with working automations they can extend in their own roles. To explore the projects behind his teaching, visit his GitHub portfolio at https://github.com/alfredang or connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/angchewhoe/
Yeo Hwee Theng is a data science leader and AI strategist with deep expertise in enterprise AI systems, data analytics and applied automation. She holds a Master of Technology in Enterprise Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore and an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP).
In Agentic AI Automation with n8n, she applies this automation and AI deployment background to help professionals turn manual business processes into intelligent workflows. Learners first design n8n workflows with triggers, actions, integrations and API connections, then add AI agents that reason and act within the process. They go on to connect external systems through webhooks and HTTP requests and to strengthen their automations with agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). The course ends with human-in-the-loop review, monitoring and security, reflecting the governance an enterprise deployment demands. Participants leave able to build, test and safely run agentic automations that combine low-code orchestration with autonomous AI.
Teh Siew Yee is a digital transformation and data analytics expert with more than two decades of experience across the technology, banking and manufacturing sectors. Having held leadership roles at Standard Chartered, Hewlett-Packard and TikTok, Siew Yee has led AI governance, automation and analytics teams that drive business efficiency through innovation. Siew Yee holds a Master of IT in Business (Artificial Intelligence) from Singapore Management University and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, and is an ACLP-certified trainer who delivers WSQ courses with a strong focus on workplace application.
In WSQ Agentic AI Automation with n8n, Siew Yee draws on that experience leading automation teams to help professionals automate business processes with AI. Learners start with workflow automation in n8n, then design agentic process automations in which AI agents decide which steps to take. They integrate other systems using webhooks and HTTP requests, improve accuracy with agentic retrieval-augmented generation, and learn to keep automations safe and reliable through human-in-the-loop checkpoints, monitoring and security practices. Using case studies and hands-on exercises, Siew Yee ensures participants leave able to build, test and govern intelligent workflows that fit their organisation's processes.

He holds PMP and Huawei HCIE certifications and is an ACTA-certified trainer with a technical yet accessible teaching approach that keeps learners building throughout.
In WSQ Agentic AI Automation with n8n, Truman guides participants in building intelligent automation that combines low-code workflow orchestration with autonomous AI capabilities. Learners design n8n workflows with triggers, actions, integrations and API connectivity, then add AI agents for agentic process automation, connect external systems through webhooks and HTTP requests, and enhance workflows with agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation. The course closes with human-in-the-loop design, monitoring and security in n8n. His emphasis on process orchestration, reliable deployment and secure architecture helps participants build automations that hold up in real business operations.
