What's This Course About

CompTIA Cloud+ Training prepares you for the CompTIA Cloud+ certification (exam CV0-004), a vendor-neutral credential that validates the skills to deploy, secure, operate and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure across public, private and hybrid environments. Cloud+ is ideal for systems administrators, cloud engineers, network and IT professionals who manage cloud resources and want a certification that is not tied to a single provider.

The course follows the official exam domains. You will start with cloud architecture, covering cloud service and deployment models, compute, storage and network design, high availability, disaster recovery and cost considerations. Next you will study deployment, including migrating workloads, provisioning resources, infrastructure as code and containers. You will then cover operations, such as monitoring, logging, scaling, backup and lifecycle management, followed by security, including identity and access management, encryption, compliance, vulnerability management and securing cloud networks.

The course continues with DevOps fundamentals, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, automation and orchestration, and closes with troubleshooting, applying a structured methodology to resolve deployment, connectivity, performance and security issues in the cloud. Each domain combines explanation, real-world scenarios and exam-style practice questions, including performance-based items. By the end, you will be able to manage cloud environments confidently across providers and be well prepared to pass the CompTIA Cloud+ exam.

Since 2002, starting off from IT technical background to pre-sales, sales account manager, system integration, operate IT retail / repair shop business in Sim Lim Square 2008 ~ 2012, and back to IT industry employment, freelance IT Trainer till present.

Peter Cheong is an IT and knowledge management professional with strong expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and information systems. He has completed the Cisco Networking Academy Introduction to Packet Tracer course and has participated in international ICT and knowledge management conferences such as the IFLA Knowledge Management Satellite Meeting. With professional experience in IT systems and infrastructure, Peter brings both technical knowledge and global exposure to his training. As an adult educator, Peter focuses on building learners’ foundational skills in cybersecurity, network defense, and risk management aligned to CompTIA Security+ objectives.
