This course prepares you for the CLSSBB-001 certification exam, covering all official exam domains:
Domain 1 Section I – Organizational Roadblocks & Lean Management
- Identify organizational roadblocks and resistance to change
- Understand continuous improvement approaches (overview)
- Apply Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals
- Use Lean management metrics: Takt Time, Cycle Time, PCE, Lead Time, SWIP, Setup/Changeover time
- Apply Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Heijunka
Domain 2 Section II – Pre-Define and Define Phase
- Compare DMAIC versus DFSS approaches
- Assess pre-define prerequisites and project prioritization (NPV, IRR, enterprise vs. line-of-business view)
- Develop project charters and manage team dynamics
- Build SIPOC/COPIS process maps
- Capture Voice of Customer/Business/Process and define CTQ, CTC, CTS
- Apply the Kano Model and Quality Function Deployment; establish baseline performance metrics and Rolled Throughput Yield
Domain 3 Section III – Measure Phase
- Identify data types and distributions (Normal, Binomial, Poisson, Weibull)
- Perform Measurement Systems Analysis and GAGE R&R
- Calculate process capability indices (Cp, Cpk, Cpkm)
- Conduct normality testing
Domain 4 Section IV – Analyze Phase
- Perform regression analysis (simple, multiple, curvilinear)
- Use Fishbone diagrams and Pareto charts for root-cause analysis
- Conduct hypothesis testing (parametric and non-parametric methods)
Domain 5 Section V – Improve Phase
- Perform cost-benefit analysis
- Design and analyze experiments (DOE, factorial designs)
- Prioritize improvement solutions using decision matrices
Domain 6 Section VI – Control Phase
- Apply Taguchi's Loss Function
- Build and interpret control charts (variable and attribute)
- Develop control plans and execute project closure
- Introduce Total Productive Maintenance
