Current SFEC: classes ending on or before 30 November 2026
- Eligible companies received a one-off $10,000 credit, notified by letter to their Corppass administrator. Eligibility generally required at least 3 Singapore Citizen or PR employees and Skills Development Levy contributions.
- SFEC covers up to 90% of the company's out-of-pocket course fee after other subsidies.
- Check your company's SFEC eligibility and balance on EnterpriseSG.
- Register your Singapore Citizen or PR employee for a class that ends by 30 November 2026, as company-sponsored, and pay the course fee after funding.
- Your employee attends and completes the course. We submit the attendance and assessment results to SWDA.
- No separate claim is needed. SFEC is calculated automatically once the course fee grant is approved and is paid quarterly to your company's IRAS GIRO or PayNow Corporate account.
Any unused balance of the current SFEC expires on 30 November 2026.
Redesigned SFEC from 1 December 2026
Companies with at least 3 resident employees receive a fresh $10,000 in an online SFEC wallet that offsets out-of-pocket fees upfront at enrolment, instead of reimbursing them afterwards. SWDA has not yet published the support rates and claim steps; see OurWorkforce or our SFEC guide.

Tay Hoo Wee is a filmmaker, creative director and multimedia educator with deep expertise in digital storytelling, visual production and creative technology. As Founder and Director of Asia Media Academy, he has led digital media training and course development initiatives for Singapore's creative community. He has produced films including Kallang Roar the Movie (2008) and Ghost on Air (2012), and contributed to international projects such as Crazy Rich Asians (2017) and HBO's Halfworlds, collaborating with studios including Sir Ridley Scott Productions, HBO, Netflix and Mediacorp. His expertise covers production management, cinematography, post-production and creative strategy, as well as visual design in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Firefly. He places a strong emphasis on merging traditional storytelling with emerging technologies such as generative AI, and has guided learners in using these tools to transform their creative workflows. His sessions emphasise visual communication, narrative flow and multimedia integration, the same principles he applies on professional productions.
In WSQ - Creating Engaging Videos with Generative AI (GenAI), Hoo Wee shows learners how AI can transform each stage of video production. Participants create and edit video scripts with generative AI, generate new video with AI-powered platforms such as Sora, Runway and VEED, and develop video standards, guidelines, work plans and timelines, much as a production manager would on a professional shoot. They then improve footage by covering editing basics, creating transcripts and closed captions, enhancing audio, fixing quality issues and assessing edited footage against requirements. In the final topic, learners apply newer AI techniques: removing objects from a scene, adding visual effects, enhancing shots, cloning voices, and generating music and voiceovers, before sharing and exporting video for social media. Through hands-on demonstrations grounded in his film experience, learners gain the skills to produce compelling, visually rich videos efficiently and to a consistent standard, and the judgement to know when an AI result is ready to publish.
Don Chan is a creative media educator, lecturer, curriculum developer and industry practitioner with more than 15 years of experience across school enrichment, adult professional training and creative production. He founded Pixel Cloud in 2012 and leads it as Lead Trainer and Creative Director, working professionally in corporate videography, events and wedding photography and videography. Since 2019 he has delivered more than 100 adult course runs through Pixel Cloud's NTUC LearningHub partnership, covering design, video, photography, generative AI and capstone projects, with a 4.90/5 average trainer-effectiveness rating. His earlier career includes roles as Head of Academics (Enrichment) at the School of Media & Technology and Senior Multimedia Specialist at ASKnLearn. He is a DaVinci Resolve Certified Trainer and Apple Logic Pro Certified User, holds a Diploma in Music from The Songwriter Music College, and produces music in Ableton Live, Pro Tools and Logic alongside his video work. He has taught with his "Appreciate, Analyze, Apply" approach since 2008.
In WSQ - Creating Engaging Videos with Generative AI (GenAI), Don guides learners through scripting, editing and enhancing video with AI while keeping production standards high. Participants create and edit video scripts with generative AI, generate new video on AI-powered editing platforms, and develop video standards, guidelines, work plans and timelines. In the second topic his post-production expertise in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro comes to the fore as learners cover editing basics, transcripts and closed captions, audio enhancement, fixes for footage quality issues and assessment of edited footage against requirements. The final topic applies newer AI technologies: removing objects, adding visual effects, enhancing shots, cloning voices, and using generative AI for music and voiceover, an area where his background as a music producer and his use of Suno add practical depth. Learners study strong examples, analyse the techniques behind them and apply those lessons to their own projects, finishing by sharing and exporting engaging videos for social media with confidence.
Dr. Alfred Ang builds AI video systems as well as teaching them, from automated YouTube production pipelines to talking avatars and digital humans. He is a full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect who specialises in agentic AI automation, AI chatbots and voice and video agent deployment, and serves as Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd. His 300+ public GitHub repositories include several projects at the heart of this course. hermes-video-pipeline is an automated YouTube video production pipeline for Tertiary Courses in which a topic request from a web form triggers an agent that researches, scripts, renders, verifies and publishes videos autonomously. videocreation turns any topic into a narrated video with AI-generated scripts, voiceover and animated scenes in TikTok and YouTube formats. lipsyncdemo turns a portrait and a script into a talking avatar using three lip-sync engines, including MuseTalk for photoreal rendering and HeyGen for cloud renders, and digitalhuman is a done-for-you service that builds branded, voice-enabled avatars with cloned voices trained on an organisation's content. He also built socialmediapost, a platform that publishes video, photos and text to 22 social platforms with scheduling and analytics. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS and a Certificate in AI Ethics and Governance (Senior Professional) from NTU. His interest in synthetic media is matched by credentials in data and AI, including Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) and AWS Certified AI Practitioner.
Creating Engaging Videos with Generative AI is designed to help participants produce better videos faster, and Dr. Ang teaches it from the practical standpoint of someone who has automated much of his own video workflow. The first topic covers creating and editing video scripts with generative AI, generating new videos from scratch using AI-powered platforms such as Sora, Runway and Veed.io, and developing video standards, guidelines, work plans and timelines so that production stays organised. The second topic focuses on improving footage: video editing basics, creating transcripts and closed captions, enhancing audio, fixing common footage quality issues and assessing edited work against requirements. The third topic applies newer AI techniques to production, including removing objects from a scene, adding visual effects, enhancing shots, cloning a voice, generating music and creating voice-overs, before sharing and exporting videos for social media. Because he has worked with voice cloning and avatar generation himself, he discusses consent, disclosure and the responsible use of synthetic media alongside the creative possibilities, drawing on his AI ethics and governance training. As an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, he keeps the sessions hands-on, so learners script, edit and publish their own short videos during the course and leave with a repeatable production workflow aligned to the WSQ assessment. He also shares practical advice on choosing the right tool for each production task. See his video and avatar projects on his GitHub portfolio at https://github.com/alfredang and connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/angchewhoe/
Allen Wong is a digital marketing strategist and creative technologist whose work spans brand storytelling, content production and AI-driven marketing innovation. As Founder and CEO of Medistation Pte. Ltd., he has led digital campaigns generating millions in revenue and helped brands use automation, analytics and creative media to achieve measurable engagement. His expertise covers content strategy, performance marketing and creative video production for digital platforms, giving him a clear sense of what makes video content perform.
In this WSQ course, Creating Engaging Videos with Generative AI (GenAI), Allen teaches participants how to combine AI-powered content generation with storytelling and marketing strategy. Learners create and edit video scripts with generative AI tools such as Sora, Runway and Veed.io, generate new video from scratch, develop video standards, work plans and timelines, and improve footage with captions, audio enhancement and quality fixes before applying newer AI technologies to their production. His lessons cover prompt-based scriptwriting, automated editing and the use of generative tools to optimise engagement on social media. Allen helps learners produce high-conversion video content that aligns with modern marketing objectives.
James Lee is a veteran IT and digital media trainer who has trained professionals in AI-enhanced content creation, digital storytelling and visual communication. He brings over two decades of experience in multimedia design, automation and creative production, and is an Adobe Certified Expert and ACLP-qualified educator. His approach blends artistic creativity with technical precision, helping learners turn complex ideas into compelling digital visuals and videos.
In WSQ Creating Engaging Videos with Generative AI (GenAI), James introduces the creative and practical use of AI across the whole video production process. Participants create and edit video scripts with generative AI, generate new video from scratch on AI-powered platforms such as Sora, Runway and Veed.io, and develop video standards, guidelines and work plans. They then improve footage by creating transcripts and closed captions, enhancing audio and fixing quality issues, before applying newer AI techniques to remove objects, add visual effects, generate music and voice-overs and export for social media. By integrating creativity with technology, James equips learners to produce engaging, AI-powered videos that connect with modern audiences.
