How to Apply SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)
SFEC helps companies pay for employee training. The current SFEC ends on 30 November 2026, and a redesigned SFEC starts on 1 December 2026.
Current SFEC: classes ending on or before 30 November 2026
- Eligible companies received a one-off $10,000 credit, notified by letter to their Corppass administrator. Eligibility generally required at least 3 Singapore Citizen or PR employees and Skills Development Levy contributions.
- SFEC covers up to 90% of the company's out-of-pocket course fee after other subsidies.
- Check your company's SFEC eligibility and balance on EnterpriseSG.
- Register your Singapore Citizen or PR employee for a class that ends by 30 November 2026, as company-sponsored, and pay the course fee after funding.
- Your employee attends and completes the course. We submit the attendance and assessment results to SWDA.
- No separate claim is needed. SFEC is calculated automatically once the course fee grant is approved and is paid quarterly to your company's IRAS GIRO or PayNow Corporate account.
Any unused balance of the current SFEC expires on 30 November 2026.
Redesigned SFEC from 1 December 2026
Companies with at least 3 resident employees receive a fresh $10,000 in an online SFEC wallet that offsets out-of-pocket fees upfront at enrolment, instead of reimbursing them afterwards. SWDA has not yet published the support rates and claim steps; see OurWorkforce or our SFEC guide.

- When the assessor gives you feedback, say whether you agree with the outcome. If you agree, you and the assessor sign the Assessment Summary Record; if you disagree, do not sign it.
- Discuss the decision with the assessor or the assessment manager first.
- If you are still not satisfied, tell the assessor you intend to appeal. The assessor records this in the feedback section of the Assessment Summary Record and informs the assessment manager.
- Lodge your appeal within 7 days, giving your reasons, using the Candidate Appeal Form. The assessor can help you write and lodge it.
- An Assessment Appeal Panel reviews the information from you and the assessor and makes a decision. A record of the appeal and its outcome is kept.

Patrick Oh is a management consultant who knows that smaller projects still need clear objectives, sound planning and honest tracking. A Singapore Certified Management Consultant, listed by TUV SUD as a certified consultant and working with SG Venture Consulting, he advises organisations on governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and implements and audits ISO management systems, including quality and environmental management systems, ISO 14064 greenhouse gas accounting and internal audit. His consulting also spans performance management and solutions design, corporate compliance and Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) consultancy, which he has provided for more than 13 years. He is CIPM (IAPP) certified and active in sustainability practice, sustainability reporting and community development. Earlier in his career, Patrick worked for years as an automation design engineer, and he has written on management topics, including an article arguing that much of Agile repackages long-established project-management best practice he had applied as an engineer and consultant.
This course reflects the kind of focused, well-scoped work that consulting engagements often involve, and Patrick uses that experience to make each topic practical. He guides learners through defining a small project, clarifying the project manager's role, setting scope and objectives and running an effective kick-off meeting, before building a work breakdown structure and Gantt chart that link schedule, resources and scope. His governance and risk background comes to the fore in the topics on root cause analysis, potential outcomes analysis, risk identification, contingency planning and risk mitigation, where he stresses anticipating problems rather than reacting to them. Drawing on his client-facing work, he shows how a RACI matrix and deliberate engagement with internal and external stakeholders keep small projects aligned, and how cost estimation and resource levelling protect limited budgets. His performance management perspective underpins the final topics on tracking deliverables and correcting misalignments, so learners finish ready to lead small projects to completion on time and within budget. He keeps the emphasis on practical tools that small teams can apply without heavy administration.
With more than 30 years in governance, risk and compliance, Dr. Siva (Prof. Dr. S. Sivanesan) helps organisations across Asia run their activities with clarity, control and accountability. The Singapore-based specialist works on governance and board advisory, enterprise risk management (ERM), internal controls and audit, and sustainability and ESG governance and reporting, and has investigated irregularities and financial fraud. He is experienced in business process reengineering, streamlined policies and procedures, and crisis management frameworks and plans, and curates ERM frameworks and training roadmaps. His clients have included boards, regulators, financial institutions, the public sector and charities, and he is the author of "Governance & Risk in a Charitable Setting - Nemesis or Necessity". He holds a Doctorate in Governance, Risks and Sustainability from EIMT, a Masters in Business Systems and a Bachelor of Economics (Accountancy) from Monash University, and a Specialist Diploma in Sustainability Reporting from Temasek Polytechnic. His professional credentials include CIA, CISA and CRISC, and he is ACLP-certified in Singapore and an HRDC-accredited trainer in Malaysia.
Small projects often run with limited budgets, lean teams and informal controls, which makes this WSQ course on effective project management for small projects a natural fit for Dr. Siva's expertise. As learners define scope and objectives, build a work breakdown structure and Gantt chart, and estimate costs and deploy resources, he shows how simple, proportionate controls keep a small project on track without unnecessary bureaucracy. His risk management experience gives depth to the topics on risk identification, contingency planning and mitigation, while his investigative and audit background sharpens the use of root cause analysis and potential outcomes analysis when problems arise. His work with boards and senior stakeholders informs the stakeholder collaboration topic, including the use of a RACI matrix to make roles and accountability clear. Learners leave able to plan, track deliverables and correct misalignments with confidence, delivering small projects on time and within budget while managing risk sensibly.
Praveen Dayal is a senior IT leader, cybersecurity practitioner and ACLP-certified trainer with global experience in information systems, risk management and project leadership. He has managed technology projects across banking, finance, manufacturing and consulting, and his career includes senior leadership roles in large-scale IT projects, digital transformation programmes and enterprise system implementations. He holds certifications including PMP, PMI-ACP, ASM, CISA, CISM and CRISC, and has a strong track record of aligning project management practice with organisational strategy and compliance requirements.
In WSQ - Effective Project Management for Small Projects, Praveen delivers project management concepts in a structured, learner-friendly way. Participants define the scope and objectives of a small project and facilitate a kick-off meeting, build a work breakdown structure and Gantt chart, and track tasks with charts and metrics. They apply root cause analysis and outcome analysis tools, identify risks and contingency plans, engage stakeholders with a RACI matrix, estimate costs, level resources and correct misalignments in scope, schedule and cost. Using real-world examples from his career, he shows how even small projects benefit from sound governance, so learners leave able to deliver on time and within budget while meeting organisational goals.
Mark Tan Kee Tchuan is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and ACLP-certified trainer with over 20 years of experience in organisational transformation and operational process improvement. He is also a Certified Scrum Master with over a decade of project management experience, overseeing large-scale system implementations, benchmarking and cost optimisation initiatives, and he has delivered measurable improvements across logistics, manufacturing, service and healthcare. He has led robotic process automation projects, and since 2016 he has been an adjunct faculty member at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), certifying Yellow Belt students in continuous improvement.
In WSQ - Effective Project Management for Small Projects, Mark blends Lean Six Sigma rigour with practical project frameworks. Learners define a small project's scope and objectives, run a kick-off meeting, and develop a work breakdown structure and Gantt chart for schedule, resources and scope. His process improvement background is especially valuable when participants track tasks with metrics, solve problems with root cause analysis and identify bottlenecks before they derail delivery. The course also covers risk contingency planning, stakeholder engagement with a RACI matrix, cost estimation, resource levelling and correcting scope or schedule creep. With his coaching and facilitation style, learners leave with actionable skills to keep small projects efficient, controlled and on track.
Agus Salim is an ACLP-certified trainer with extensive experience in IT systems, business operations and project coordination. With over a decade in systems integration, software development and IT security across enterprise and consulting environments, he has managed projects ranging from software implementation to process improvement, keeping deliverables within scope, budget and time. He has worked with organisations such as Citi and Check Point Software Technologies, and his credentials include PMP, CompTIA Security+, CEH and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. Grounded in both technical and business domains, he bridges operational execution and project planning.
In WSQ - Effective Project Management for Small Projects, Agus focuses on the practical skills needed to manage smaller projects with limited resources. Learners set clear scope and objectives, run a project kick-off, and turn objectives into a work breakdown structure and Gantt chart. They then track tasks with charts and metrics, solve problems with root cause analysis, plan for risk, map stakeholders with a RACI matrix, estimate costs and deploy people effectively. His sessions emphasise task prioritisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, and use workplace-focused case studies and hands-on exercises with step-by-step guidance. Participants leave able to apply project management tools directly in their own work environments and lead small projects confidently to completion.
