Google Workspace Masterclass helps you and your team get far more out of Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Calendar and the other apps in Google Workspace. Many organisations use only a fraction of what Workspace can do; used well, it streamlines collaboration, keeps information organised and secure, and reduces time spent on email and admin. The masterclass is designed for SME owners, administrators, office staff and team leads who want to work smarter with Google's cloud productivity suite.

You will start with an overview of Google Workspace, exploring how the apps work together and how to set up an efficient, collaborative way of working. Next you will work with Google Workspace contents and assets, organising Google Drive and shared drives, setting sharing permissions and policies, and creating and collaborating on documents, spreadsheets and presentations in real time. You will learn practical features such as version history, comments and suggestions, templates, forms and calendar scheduling to keep projects moving.

The final topic covers Google Admin and add-ons, including managing users and groups, applying security and data-sharing settings, and extending Workspace with add-ons, integrations and built-in AI features. Every topic is hands-on with realistic workplace scenarios. By the end of the masterclass, you will be able to organise and manage your organisation's content in Google Workspace, collaborate more effectively, and keep data accessible, well-structured and secure.

Terence Ee is an experienced IT leader and consultant with more than 25 years of expertise in technology management, information systems, and digital transformation. He has served as Chief Information Officer at the Supreme Court of Singapore and Vice President of Information Systems at Senoko Energy, where he led major IT modernization projects. Since 2017, he has worked as an independent consultant and ACLP-certified trainer, specializing in guiding SMEs and enterprises in adopting future-ready digital platforms. As a WSQ-accredited trainer, Terence delivers programs in digital collaboration, IT governance, and productivity tools. His facilitation emphasizes case studies, simulations, and hands-on practice, enabling learners to apply modern IT systems such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace to improve collaboration and business efficiency. With his leadership background and deep IT expertise, Terence prepares learners to thrive in digitally transforming environments.
Kesston Tang is a seasoned consultant and trainer with expertise in business negotiations, financial analysis, and corporate advisory services. With an interest and experience in scripting, Ken has worked on projects using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, MS Office, VBA, Power BI, etc. Notably, Ken is a proven expert Excel user at work who has made efficient many work processes, improved data analysis and enhanced the quality of business planning and reporting for organizations. Ken graduated with a Pharmacy degree, holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Adelaide. An ardent advocate of lifelong learning, Ken is ACTA trained and seeks to continually upgrade his IT skills through various channels of learning and Microsoft certifications. Armand Abdul Rahim is an ACLP-certified trainer and learning consultant with strong expertise in customer engagement, interpersonal effectiveness, and professional communication. Elements of the course were very basic and at times I felt that the knowledge of the trainer was no greater than my knowledge levels.
Some of the questions asked were lost in translation.
Perhaps come up with a FAQ sheet for each area of google drive.
Thoroughly investigate the capabilities of the google drive to be able to answer more specific questions.

Perhaps my expectations of the course were for it to be more advanced. Many of our team are self taught and no doubt picked up some useful tips, but a number of people on the course knew all of the content and sometimes more.
The section on google sheets at the beginning was useful. Some of the features of the various applications are similar, so the later in the day it felt we were covering the same steps. (Posted on 3/8/2018)
