Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) Training

Failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) is a step-by-step approach for identifying all possible failures in a design, a manufacturing or assembly process, or a product or service. This course follows a step-by-step method for conducting FMEA. Each participant will have the opportunity to develop all the elements of a Design and Process FMEA. Participants will learn how to assess risk and determine the levels of risk that trigger mitigation actions.

Excel TrainerTan Kian Meng is currently a part time statistics lecturer in polytechnics. He has more than 15 years of Quality Engineering and Quality Management experience with a global electronic manufacturing MNC, where there were opportunities to practice statistical and quality improvement methodologies. His area of specialty include SPC, SQC, Process Capability Improvement, DoE, FMEA, 6-Sigma, GD&T, GRR and Quality Systems.

He is graduated from NUS with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and M.Sc. in Industrial & System Engineering. He was also a Certified Quality Engineer with ASQ.

Project Management TrainerSameer Koul an accomplished IT Professional with more than 19 years' experience in IT Services & consulting and Telecom domain.  Sameer is a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Computing from CDAC and Electronics and Communication engineering graduate from the University of Pune. Sameer has worked in Senior Positions in reputed multinational companies. He was Director OSS Operations and Delivery in Singtel where he had hands on experience in implementing ITIL based best practices. He worked as a Director/Solution Management in Amdocs and had experience in directing a program that was based on Agile and DevOps concepts. Sameer was also in charge for implementing Advanced Integration Methodology for large Systems Integration Projects at Alcatel-Lucent. Sameer has more than 10 years of experience in Program/Project Management and is a certified PRINCE2 practitioner. Sameer is also Certified in ITIL Foundations. Sameer is trained in Scoping requirement analysis and has knowledge and excellent experience in this area.

Sameer has also worked with reputed consulting companies and is passionate about training and consulting in the areas of Project/Program Management, Requirement Management and ITIL implementation. Having worked in R&D departments of Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola, Sameer has a good technical background and is Certified Java Developer and Cisco Certified Network Associate.

PHP and PMP TrainerBalasubramanian(Bala) Meenakshisundaram , is a Financial Services Technology professional with over 20 years of experience in Consumer Banking domain.

Till recently he was with Citibank’s global consumer technology unit, in Singapore.

He is currently a Director in GCCOE Info tech , a Start up that specialises in Private Social Networks, Educational Technology and Fintech.

He has a very good exposure to the consumer banking industry in most countries across all regions (North Americas, South Americas, Europe and Asia) as a Global Delivery Manager, as part of the Global Consumer Technology unit of Citibank, N.A, in Singapore.

He has been involved 3 major product life cycles of the Core banking systems in Citibank,  International  during his tenure and has actively implemented systems in Account opening,  Consumer loans and Insurance domains as an application development specialist.

He has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering and has contributed to the growth of IT as an MIS specialist in Automobile and Heavy Industries Sectors apart from Consumer Banking . He has significant experience in manufacturing systems of mass production.

He lives in Singapore with his wife and son and he is passionate about developing the next generation in Singapore to sustain the IT leadership in the years to come. He is also keenly interested in promoting the use of open source tools for improving the automation and enhancing the productivity of the small and medium businesses.
