CompTIA Linux+ Training prepares you for the CompTIA Linux+ certification (exam XK0-006), a vendor-neutral credential that validates the skills to configure, manage, secure and troubleshoot Linux systems in on-premises and cloud environments. Linux runs most servers, cloud platforms and containers, so Linux administration is a core skill for system administrators, DevOps engineers, cloud engineers and cyber security professionals. The course is designed for IT professionals with some Linux experience who want to advance their careers.

The course follows the official exam domains. You will start with system management, covering the boot process, kernel modules, storage and file systems, logical volumes, package management, networking configuration and system services. Next you will study services and user management, including managing users, groups and permissions, configuring common services and working with containers. You will then cover security, such as authentication, access controls, SELinux and AppArmor, firewalls, SSH hardening, encryption and compliance.

The course continues with automation, orchestration and scripting, writing Bash and Python scripts, using Git and infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, and closes with troubleshooting, applying a structured methodology to diagnose system, network, storage and performance problems. Hands-on labs and exam-style practice questions reinforce every domain. By the end, you will be able to administer Linux systems confidently and be well prepared to pass the CompTIA Linux+ exam.
