How to Apply SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)

SFEC helps companies pay for employee training. The current SFEC ends on 30 November 2026, and a redesigned SFEC starts on 1 December 2026.

Current SFEC: classes ending on or before 30 November 2026

  • Eligible companies received a one-off $10,000 credit, notified by letter to their Corppass administrator. Eligibility generally required at least 3 Singapore Citizen or PR employees and Skills Development Levy contributions.
  • SFEC covers up to 90% of the company's out-of-pocket course fee after other subsidies.
  1. Check your company's SFEC eligibility and balance on EnterpriseSG.
  2. Register your Singapore Citizen or PR employee for a class that ends by 30 November 2026, as company-sponsored, and pay the course fee after funding.
  3. Your employee attends and completes the course. We submit the attendance and assessment results to SWDA.
  4. No separate claim is needed. SFEC is calculated automatically once the course fee grant is approved and is paid quarterly to your company's IRAS GIRO or PayNow Corporate account.

Any unused balance of the current SFEC expires on 30 November 2026.

Redesigned SFEC from 1 December 2026

Companies with at least 3 resident employees receive a fresh $10,000 in an online SFEC wallet that offsets out-of-pocket fees upfront at enrolment, instead of reimbursing them afterwards. SWDA has not yet published the support rates and claim steps; see OurWorkforce or our SFEC guide.

How to Apply PSEA

Singapore Citizens with a Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA), which stays open until around the year you turn 31, can use it to pay the course fee after funding for PSEA-approved courses. You can also use a sibling's PSEA after your own has been used up.

  1. Check that this course shows the PSEA tag on its MySkillsFuture page.
  2. Check your PSEA balance on MOE's Student Finance System with Singpass.
  3. Download and complete the PSEA withdrawal form, then submit it to us.
  4. We submit the withdrawal request to MOE. You (and your sibling, if you are using their account) authorise it in the Student Finance System. Nothing is withdrawn without this authorisation.
  5. MOE pays us directly. If you have already paid, we refund the amount covered by PSEA.

More details: MOE PSEA overview.

Appeal Process

If you disagree with an assessment decision, you have the right to appeal.

  1. When the assessor gives you feedback, say whether you agree with the outcome. If you agree, you and the assessor sign the Assessment Summary Record; if you disagree, do not sign it.
  2. Discuss the decision with the assessor or the assessment manager first.
  3. If you are still not satisfied, tell the assessor you intend to appeal. The assessor records this in the feedback section of the Assessment Summary Record and informs the assessment manager.
  4. Lodge your appeal within 7 days, giving your reasons, using the Candidate Appeal Form. The assessor can help you write and lodge it.
  5. An Assessment Appeal Panel reviews the information from you and the assessor and makes a decision. A record of the appeal and its outcome is kept.
  6. You will be told the outcome within 2 weeks of lodging the appeal. The panel's decision is final.

Trainers

Trainers

Search visibility is a problem Dr. Alfred Ang solves in his own products, not only in the classroom. A full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, he serves as Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd and founded Tertiary Courses, whose course pages and blog must be found online by professionals in Singapore. Among the more than 300 public repositories on his GitHub is ai-pei, an AI-powered Next.js content management system for Tertiary Infotech Academy with SEO and lead generation built into every page, a self-improving chatbot and an auto-blog scheduler powered by the Claude Agent SDK. A companion project, ai-cms, offers AI content generation, a weekly auto-blog scheduler and built-in SEO for Singapore training providers. He has also built several SEO-focused websites, including northstar-marketing-consultancy and BlueHaven Health, a clinic site with structured SEO schema and accessibility built in. His credentials combine AI and analytics: he is a Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) and Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), an AWS Certified AI Practitioner, and an IBM certified instructor for the AI Practitioners course. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS and the Certificate in AI Ethics and Governance (Senior Professional) from NTU, and he works with agent frameworks such as n8n, the Claude Agent SDK and the OpenAI Agents SDK to automate content workflows.

In WSQ Generative AI for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Dr. Ang shows marketers, content creators and business owners how to use generative AI to improve search visibility without sacrificing quality. The course starts with the fundamentals of SEO and generative AI, then moves through AI-powered keyword research and content strategy, creating SEO-optimised content with generative AI, AI for on-page optimisation, and finally performance measurement, ethics and best practice. He brings the lessons of running AI content pipelines on live websites: start with search intent rather than keywords alone, use AI to accelerate research and drafting, and keep a human editor responsible for accuracy, expertise and brand voice. Learners practise turning keyword research into content plans, writing titles and meta descriptions that fit search results, structuring pages with clear headings and internal links, and improving existing pages instead of only producing new ones. He also explains how to measure whether changes are working, and why mass-produced, low-value AI content can harm rankings and reputation rather than help them. His NTU training in AI ethics and governance informs the discussion of transparency, originality and responsible use. As an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, he runs structured, hands-on sessions aligned to the WSQ competency standards, with prompts and checklists learners can reuse at work. Learners also explore how AI-generated answers in search are changing visibility, and why clear, well-structured, trustworthy content matters even more as a result. To see his SEO and content platforms, explore his GitHub portfolio at https://github.com/alfredang and connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/angchewhoe/

Allen Wong is a forward-thinking digital marketing strategist with a proven track record of generating over $5 million in revenue through strategic online campaigns. He is also certified in SEO and in adult learning.

In this WSQ course, Generative AI for Search Engine Optimization, Allen applies his SEO and automation experience to the generative AI era. Learners cover the fundamentals of SEO and generative AI, use AI for keyword research and content strategy, create SEO-optimised content, apply AI to on-page optimisation, and track SEO performance while following ethical best practices. His training emphasises practical techniques such as keyword optimisation, content strategy and on-page and off-page SEO, grounded in what helps small businesses achieve higher rankings and more conversions. Through his learner-centred approach, SME owners and professionals gain the skills and actionable insights to strengthen their online presence in competitive markets.

Patrick Foo is an ACTA-certified trainer with a strong background in digital marketing and adult education. With years of experience in training and mentoring, he specialises in breaking down complex SEO concepts into accessible, actionable steps for SME professionals. His expertise lies in keyword research, on-page SEO and analytics, helping small businesses understand how to improve their online rankings and reach. His training approach is highly practical, emphasising strategies that SMEs can implement immediately, such as improving site structure, creating targeted content and tracking performance metrics.

In Generative AI for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), he builds on this SEO foundation to show how generative AI can streamline the work. Learners cover the fundamentals of modern SEO alongside generative AI, use AI to accelerate keyword research and content planning, and create SEO-optimised content. They then apply AI to on-page optimisation and finish with SEO performance measurement, ethics and best practices for AI-assisted content. His structured yet engaging delivery and focus on hands-on optimisation help participants keep quality, relevance and search engine guidelines in view while AI handles much of the heavy lifting, so they leave able to enhance their digital presence and build long-term online visibility.

Raymond Teoh is an ACLP-certified trainer with over 23 years of leadership experience in the digital marketing industry. He has held senior positions at Singapore Press Holdings, Innity and iClick Interactive, achieving milestones such as driving a 400% increase in revenue and transforming business units to profitability. As a digital marketing mentor with SIRS (Nanyang Polytechnic) and the Singapore Productivity Centre, he has trained and coached SMEs on SEO, SEM, social media and content strategies.

In Generative AI for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Raymond combines this hands-on search and content marketing experience with the practical use of generative AI. Learners start with the fundamentals of modern SEO and generative AI, then use AI to accelerate keyword research and content strategy, create SEO-optimised content and improve on-page optimisation. The course closes with measuring SEO performance and applying ethics and best practice when using AI, so that quality and relevance are maintained. His workshops are practical and tailored to business needs, helping participants optimise their websites and content for better search visibility and translate actionable SEO strategies into business growth.

Online format for 7-8 hours a day is intense and tiring, but trainer was knowledgeable and willing to share his own stories and tips for start-ups and SMEs, which added value to the course, instead of just learning the technical knowledge of SEO optimisation alone. (Posted on 11/8/2025)
