NICF – Basic Deep Learning with Tensorflow Keras

This basic course on Basic Deep Learning with Tensorflow Keras aims to equip learners with practical deep learning knowledge using an the popular deep learning framework – Tensorflow and Keras.

Tensorflow, developed by Google, is a popular open source Deep Learning framework. Keras is a user friendly Tensorflow API that simplifies the coding for neural networks and deep learning. Kera allows one to build neural network deep learning models readily for predictive data analytics, regression, classification and data modelling. Learners can apply Keras for supervised and unsupervised machine learning tasks.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, learners will be able to 

  • LO1 - Setup Tensorflow and Keras Deep Learning frameworks
  • LO2 - Understand and code Neural Network models for Regression
  • LO3 - Understand and code Neural Network models for Classification
  • LO4 - Understand and code Convolutional Neural Network models for Image Classification
  • LO5 - Understand and use pre-trained models for transfer learning

Certification

Two certificates will be awarded to trainees who have demonstrated competency in the WSQ Deep Learning with Tensorflow Keras assessment and achieved at least 75% attendance.

  • A SkillsFuture WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) – ICT-DIT-3001-1.1 Analytics and Computational Modelling under the National Infocomm Competency Framework (NICF) issued by WSG
  • Certification of Achievement issued by Tertiary Infotech Pte Ltd

Dr. Alfred Ang is ACTA certified trainer. He was Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) and Senior Member of IEEE. He has published more than 20 peer reviewed papers and co-inventors for more than 20 inventions.
