Dr. Smita Singh holds a PhD and is a sustainability consultant with more than 15 years of experience in environmental management, sustainability reporting and green certification. She has worked on research and consultancy projects promoting eco-friendly practices, corporate sustainability and responsible resource management across Asia. Her expertise includes developing sustainability frameworks, applying GRI Standards and defining material topics, conducting environmental impact assessments and aligning business strategies with ESG principles. She has supported businesses in embedding ISO-aligned sustainability practices and climate accountability, and her ISO standards auditing experience across ISO 14001, ISO 14064 and ISO 9001 gives her insight into how disclosures are evidenced and verified. She also leads programmes on carbon footprint and circular economy. An ACLP-certified corporate trainer, lecturer and assessor, she brings scientific knowledge and global sustainability frameworks together in every session. Her experience spans both research and practical consultancy, so she can explain why sustainability performance matters and how organisations can measure, manage and communicate it credibly to investors, regulators, customers and employees.
