AI Vibe Coding for REST API teaches you how to build production-grade REST APIs with Python and FastAPI by directing AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude instead of typing every line yourself. Vibe coding lets you describe what you want in plain English, review the code the AI produces and steer it until it meets your requirements. The course is designed for developers, data professionals and technical learners who want to create reliable APIs faster with AI assistance.

You will start with the AI vibe coding workflow and FastAPI project set-up, learning how to plan an API, prompt an AI assistant effectively, structure a project and run a development server. Next you will design REST endpoints and data models with AI, applying REST principles, HTTP methods and status codes, and using Pydantic for request validation and response models. You will then integrate a database and add authentication with vibe coding, connecting to SQL databases, implementing CRUD operations and securing endpoints with token-based authentication.

The final topic covers testing, documenting and shipping your API, including automated tests with pytest, interactive OpenAPI documentation, error handling and deploying your API to the cloud. Throughout the course you will learn to review AI-generated code critically, catch security issues and keep your project maintainable. Every topic is hands-on, building a complete API from start to finish. By the end, you will be able to design, build, test and deploy REST APIs efficiently using AI vibe coding.
