Kesston Tang combines more than two decades of ICT delivery with hands-on work as a consultant in financial analysis, business negotiation and corporate advisory. An ACTA-certified trainer, he has delivered multi-million-dollar ICT projects for multinational corporations and government agencies, and has worked across both the ICT and supply chain (warehouse management) sectors. His certifications include Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), PMP, ITIL and TOGAF, together with the security-focused CEH, CHFI and EC-Council Certified SOC Analyst (CSA). He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master in Education, and he also coaches clients on building their online presence. This mix of finance, technology and governance gives him a well-rounded view of how AI should be introduced into a finance function. He is comfortable speaking the language of both the finance team and the IT department.

In Microsoft Copilot for Finance, Kesston connects these threads to the work finance professionals do every day. He sets out the foundations of AI, machine learning and Generative AI and their place in finance, then moves into Copilot in Excel for summarising, analysing and visualising financial data, an area where his own financial analysis practice keeps the focus on accuracy and sound interpretation. Learners go on to use Copilot Studio to design finance workflows and AI agents, including multi-agent workflows for broader finance transformation. His security certifications and enterprise architecture grounding come to the fore in the topic on AI security, governance and risk management, where he helps learners think through data exposure, controls and accountability before automating anything. He also encourages learners to start with small, well-defined finance tasks, such as variance commentary or report preparation, before attempting larger automated workflows. Learners finish with a practical understanding of where Copilot adds value in finance, and how to adopt it responsibly within their organisation.

Dr. Alfred Ang brings an unusual mix of deep engineering, business ownership and finance-adjacent technology to Microsoft Copilot for Finance. A full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect, he is the Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd and the founder of Tertiary Courses, and he has built his own organisation's systems for payroll, expense claims and finance workflows. His Microsoft credentials are directly relevant to this course: he is a Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102), Data Scientist (DP-100), Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) and Power App Maker (PL-100), and he has also been certified as a Xero Pro Advisor. He completed an Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading from QuantInsti and an online MBA from Universitas 21 Global, alongside a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS, an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from NTU and a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics from NUS. On the build side, his public GitHub portfolio includes an HR and accounting platform for Tertiary Infotech Academy with Singapore CPF payroll and expense claims, a self-hosted learning and training management system with QuickBooks finance workflows, an ERP prototype with purchase orders, three-way-matched invoices and human-in-the-loop approvals, and an n8n-powered Telegram AI agent that analyses stocks and explains Buy, Sell or Hold recommendations with its reasoning. He is also an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and a certified PMP, which inform how he frames AI adoption as a governed change programme.

That background lets him teach Copilot for finance as a working tool rather than a novelty. He starts with a clear grounding in AI, machine learning and generative AI and how they are reshaping finance and fintech, then moves into Copilot in Excel, where learners summarise, clean, analyse and visualise financial data using prompts they can reuse on their own month-end and reporting files. In the Copilot Studio module he draws on his daily work with agent frameworks such as n8n, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Microsoft AutoGen and CrewAI to explain how a finance agent should be scoped, which steps need a human approver and how single agents grow into multi-agent workflows for planning and decision support. Learners also see how Copilot can explain variances, draft commentary for management reports and prepare first drafts of forecasts, with clear rules on when a figure must be checked against the source ledger. The final module on finance transformation brings these pieces together into a roadmap for introducing multi-agent workflows responsibly across a finance team. His Certificate in AI Ethics and Governance (Senior Professional) from NTU and CompTIA Security+ certification shape the security, governance and risk management topic, where learners look at data exposure, access control and accountable AI use in a regulated function. As an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, he keeps every session hands-on and anchored in realistic finance scenarios, so participants leave with prompts, workflows and agent designs they can adapt straight away. Learners who want to see his work for themselves are welcome to browse his GitHub portfolio at https://github.com/alfredang and connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/angchewhoe/

Allen Wong is an ACTA-certified trainer and seasoned digital marketing strategist whose more than eight years of experience include work in the finance sector alongside e-commerce, events, FMCG and real estate. His data-driven approach has delivered a career-wide return on ad spend of 300%, peaking at 1000% in events, and he has generated $2M in e-commerce revenue and over $5M in sales. An AI enthusiast, Allen favours practical, cost-effective uses of technology, and he brings a business-results perspective to finance professionals exploring how generative and agentic AI can support their work.

Microsoft Copilot for Finance builds from foundations in AI, machine learning and generative AI to hands-on use of Microsoft Copilot in finance. Learners use Copilot in Excel for financial analysis and visualisation, build finance workflows and AI agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio, examine AI security, governance and risk management, and explore finance transformation with multi-agent workflows. Allen's commercial, numbers-driven outlook keeps the focus on outputs that support real decisions, and he encourages participants to check AI-generated analysis carefully before relying on it. By the end, learners can apply Copilot to everyday finance tasks and judge where agents can responsibly take on more of the workload.

James Lee Kin Nam is a technology trainer with more than 20 years of progressive training experience in corporate enterprises and educational institutes. A graduate in Computer Studies and Multimedia Development who specialises in graphics, animation and web technologies, he is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group and was formerly an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, a Web Developer at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and a Social Media & Content Specialist at Equinet Academy. He is an ACTA certified trainer, holds the ACLP (Certified Trainer / Assessor) and is an MOE Registered Instructor, as well as an Adobe Certified Expert, Instructor and Web Specialist.

In Microsoft Copilot for Finance, James brings his corporate training experience and his ability to explain and simplify complex concepts to a fast-moving subject. Learners build a foundation in AI, machine learning and generative AI for finance, then apply Microsoft Copilot in Excel for financial analysis and visualisation, use Copilot Studio to automate finance workflows with AI agents, and examine AI security, governance and risk management. The course closes with finance transformation and multi-agent workflows. Participants gain practical, structured techniques they can take straight back to reporting, analysis and planning tasks in their own teams.
