What's This Course About

Claude Code Masterclass teaches you how to master agentic coding with Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding tool that works in your terminal and IDE. Claude Code navigates your codebase, edits files, runs commands and tests, and works through multi-step development tasks from plain-English instructions while you review and guide the work. The masterclass is designed for software developers, engineers, data professionals and technical leads who want to build, refactor and maintain software significantly faster with an AI coding agent.

You will start by getting started with Claude Code, installing it, understanding how it reads and edits your project, managing permissions and writing effective instructions and project memory files such as CLAUDE.md. Next you will learn agentic development workflows, including planning before coding, exploring unfamiliar codebases, implementing features, fixing bugs, writing tests, refactoring and working with Git and pull requests. You will then extend Claude Code with hooks, skills and MCP servers, automating checks, packaging repeatable expertise and connecting external tools and data.

The final topic covers building real-world projects with Claude Code, taking an application from requirements to a tested, deployed result and using subagents and headless automation for larger tasks. Throughout the masterclass you will practise reviewing AI-generated code critically, keeping humans in control and protecting secrets. Every topic is hands-on. By the end, you will be able to use Claude Code confidently to deliver high-quality software faster.

James Lee Kin Nam is a ACTA certified trainer. James has more than 20 years of progressive training experience in both corporate enterprises and educational institutes. He is certified by Adobe as an Adobe Certified Expert, Instructor and Web Specialist. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP Certified Trainer / Assessor) in adult training. He is also an MOE Registered Instructor. Graduated in the area of Computer Studies and Multimedia Development, he specializes in graphics, animation and web technologies. 
He was a former Adjunct Lecturer for Singapore Polytechnic, Web Developer for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Social Media & Content Specialist for Equinet Academy. He is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group. He has guided many users in the usage of Adobe applications and website development to achieve greater heights in their career advancement. With his knowledge and experiences, James has the ability to explain and simplify complex concepts. He will be able to make positive contributions to your learning journey.
