Claude Code Masterclass teaches you how to master agentic coding with Claude Code, Anthropic's AI coding tool that works in your terminal and IDE. Claude Code navigates your codebase, edits files, runs commands and tests, and works through multi-step development tasks from plain-English instructions while you review and guide the work. The masterclass is designed for software developers, engineers, data professionals and technical leads who want to build, refactor and maintain software significantly faster with an AI coding agent.

You will start by getting started with Claude Code, installing it, understanding how it reads and edits your project, managing permissions and writing effective instructions and project memory files such as CLAUDE.md. Next you will learn agentic development workflows, including planning before coding, exploring unfamiliar codebases, implementing features, fixing bugs, writing tests, refactoring and working with Git and pull requests. You will then extend Claude Code with hooks, skills and MCP servers, automating checks, packaging repeatable expertise and connecting external tools and data.

The final topic covers building real-world projects with Claude Code, taking an application from requirements to a tested, deployed result and using subagents and headless automation for larger tasks. Throughout the masterclass you will practise reviewing AI-generated code critically, keeping humans in control and protecting secrets. Every topic is hands-on. By the end, you will be able to use Claude Code confidently to deliver high-quality software faster.

Dr. Alfred Ang uses agentic coding tools to ship real software, which is exactly the perspective this masterclass is built on. A full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect, he is Managing Director, CIO and CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd and the founder of Tertiary Courses. He works with a wide range of agent frameworks, including the Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, Google Gemini Agent SDK, Microsoft AutoGen, CrewAI and n8n, and builds cloud-native systems across AWS, Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines. His credentials include a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) and CompTIA Security+. His GitHub profile, with 300+ public repositories, shows how he works: he publishes a collection of Claude Code skills that auto-detect and start any app, generate READMEs, push to Docker Hub, scan for secrets and test mobile responsiveness; a second skill set for producing WSQ courseware in a consistent house style; and a WSQ and CASL course proposal generator powered by Claude Code. In this masterclass, Dr. Ang takes developers, engineers, data professionals and technical leads from installation to confident daily use of Claude Code. Learners start by setting it up in the terminal and IDE and learning how it navigates a codebase, edits files and runs commands and tests from plain-English instructions. He then covers agentic development workflows: planning a change, breaking work into steps, reviewing diffs and keeping the human firmly in control. A dedicated session on extending Claude Code shows how hooks, skills and MCP servers turn it into a tool tailored to a team's own conventions, drawing directly on the skills he has written and maintains. The course closes with real-world projects in which participants build and refactor working applications end to end. A graduate in Computer Studies and Multimedia Development, he has worked as a Web Developer at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, and is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group. He is certified by Adobe as an Adobe Certified Expert, Instructor and Web Specialist, and is an ACTA certified trainer, MOE Registered Instructor and ACLP Certified Trainer / Assessor.
