How to Apply SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC)
SFEC helps companies pay for employee training. The current SFEC ends on 30 November 2026, and a redesigned SFEC starts on 1 December 2026.
Current SFEC: classes ending on or before 30 November 2026
- Eligible companies received a one-off $10,000 credit, notified by letter to their Corppass administrator. Eligibility generally required at least 3 Singapore Citizen or PR employees and Skills Development Levy contributions.
- SFEC covers up to 90% of the company's out-of-pocket course fee after other subsidies.
- Check your company's SFEC eligibility and balance on EnterpriseSG.
- Register your Singapore Citizen or PR employee for a class that ends by 30 November 2026, as company-sponsored, and pay the course fee after funding.
- Your employee attends and completes the course. We submit the attendance and assessment results to SWDA.
- No separate claim is needed. SFEC is calculated automatically once the course fee grant is approved and is paid quarterly to your company's IRAS GIRO or PayNow Corporate account.
Any unused balance of the current SFEC expires on 30 November 2026.
Redesigned SFEC from 1 December 2026
Companies with at least 3 resident employees receive a fresh $10,000 in an online SFEC wallet that offsets out-of-pocket fees upfront at enrolment, instead of reimbursing them afterwards. SWDA has not yet published the support rates and claim steps; see OurWorkforce or our SFEC guide.

Dr. Alfred Ang turns complex ideas into clear visuals every day as Chief Instructional Designer, and he increasingly uses AI to do it. He is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect, courseware developer and corporate trainer, and serves as Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, having founded Tertiary Courses. He leads a team that designs Skills Framework-aligned WSQ and IBF programmes, which means producing large numbers of slide decks and learning materials that must explain technical subjects simply. His public GitHub portfolio reveals a strong visual-explainer streak: interactive single-page primers on topology, Lie groups, hyperbolic geometry and stellar evolution, each with animated canvas visuals, and Quantum Labs, which teaches quantum computing through interactive lessons and simulators. He has also built IT PMO dashboards with large KPI tiles, colour-coded statuses and project status charts, and logomaker, which generates logo options from a text description using Gemini or OpenAI. On data visualisation, he is a Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300) and Data Scientist (DP-100), and he also holds Microsoft Certified AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) and AWS Certified AI Practitioner credentials. His academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS, an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from NTU and a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics from NUS. He is an ACTA-certified trainer and a DACE-certified curriculum developer. He is also an IBM certified instructor for the AI Practitioners course and holds a Certificate in AI Ethics and Governance (Senior Professional) from NTU.
In CASL - Create Powerpoint Infographics with AI, Dr. Ang shows learners how to transform ideas, data and complex information into clear visual stories. The first topic covers AI-assisted infographic planning and data insights: using AI to summarise source material, pick out the key message, identify the most telling figures and suggest suitable layouts. The second topic is the build, where learners bring those plans into PowerPoint with shapes, icons, SmartArt, charts, diagrams and typography, using AI to generate and refine concepts and wording along the way. The third topic focuses on evaluating and presenting infographics for business impact, checking accuracy, readability and visual hierarchy, and refining the design for the intended audience. His experience as an instructional designer and Power BI analyst shapes his practical advice on choosing the right chart for the data, cutting clutter and making a single point land on each slide. He is also careful to remind learners that AI-generated summaries and numbers must be verified against the source before they reach a client or manager. Classes are relaxed but productive, with live demonstrations and plenty of time to work on learners' own reports, proposals or data, and activities support the CASL assessment. Participants leave with polished infographics and a repeatable AI-assisted design workflow. He also shares design habits from his own courseware work, such as consistent colour palettes, generous white space and icons that support rather than decorate the message. To see his visual explainers and other projects, view his GitHub portfolio at https://github.com/alfredang and connect with him on LinkedIn at https://www.linkedin.com/in/angchewhoe/
