AI Agent with Hermes Agent teaches you how to build your own autonomous AI agent using Hermes Agent, an open-source agent framework designed to plan and carry out multi-step tasks, use tools, remember context and improve its skills over time. Hermes Agent can work through messaging channels and the command line, run scheduled jobs and automate research, writing, data and operations tasks on your behalf. The course is designed for professionals, developers, IT staff and technology enthusiasts who want hands-on experience building a practical AI agent.

You will start by getting started with Hermes Agent, installing and configuring it, connecting an AI model and the channels you want to use, and understanding how the agent plans, calls tools and manages memory. You will create your first agent with a clear role, instructions and boundaries, and test it on real requests. Next you will build and deploy autonomous agents with Hermes Agent, adding tools and skills, connecting files, apps and data sources, scheduling recurring tasks and deploying your agent so it can run continuously.

Throughout the course you will also learn how to monitor and review what your agent does, manage permissions and access to data, protect it against risks such as prompt injection, and keep humans in control of important actions. Every activity is hands-on with realistic use cases. By the end, you will be able to build, deploy and safely manage an autonomous AI agent with Hermes Agent that handles real work and saves you time every day.
