Articulate Storyline 360 Masterclass teaches you how to design and build engaging, interactive e-learning courses with Articulate Storyline 360, one of the most widely used e-learning authoring tools. Storyline lets you create custom interactions, scenarios, quizzes and simulations without programming, and publish them to any learning management system. The masterclass is designed for instructional designers, trainers, learning and development professionals, educators and HR teams who want to create professional digital learning content.

You will start by getting started with Articulate Storyline 360, exploring the interface, creating a project, using templates and themes, and planning a course structure with scenes, slides and story view. Next you will work with assets, adding and formatting text, images, characters, audio, video and screen recordings, and using the Content Library to speed up development. You will then build interactivity, using triggers, states, layers, variables and conditions to create clickable interactions, branching scenarios and drag-and-drop activities.

The final topic covers presentation, including designing quizzes and result slides, adding accessibility features, previewing and testing, and publishing your course to SCORM and xAPI for a learning management system or to the web. Throughout the masterclass you will apply instructional design principles so your courses are both engaging and effective. Every topic is hands-on. By the end, you will be able to plan, build and publish professional interactive e-learning courses in Articulate Storyline 360 with confidence.

Dr. Mak Wai Keong has a Doctor of Education (EdD.) and has completed his Masters of Science (MSc) degree in Management of Technology in 2000 at the National University of Singapore. In 1994, he obtained his Bachelor of Science (Merit) in Chemistry and Mathematics from the National University of Singapore. Upon graduation with a BSc degree, he started his career in the area of training and multimedia development, and set up a company in 1997 to focus on multimedia training development for the telecommunications and semi-conductor industries. Being passionate in research and training, and educating the youth, he then moved to the academic and research domains as a lecturer at Temasek and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. His research capacity started at SIM University as a Research Associate, and National Institute of Education (Centre for Research in Pedagogy and Practices (CRPP). He was able to apply his experience in Learning Technology areas at the Singapore Polytechnic and Yale-NUS College where he was the Associate Director for Educational Resources & Technology. Dr. Mak last appointment was at the Institute for Adult Learning, Innovation Lab (iN.LAB) as the Senior Learning Innovator before starting out on his own. He curated 4 major programs for iN.LAB, namely InnovByte, InnovLogue, InnovJam and InnovPlus. He is author and co-author of numerous international journal and conference papers. Currently, he is the Group CEO of Edtrix Group – comprises Edtrix Solutions Pte. Ltd., Edtrix Innovation Pte. Ltd., Edtrix Enterprise Pte. Lte. and SmartzWerkz Pte. Ltd. His work involves research and development in Learner (and Gamer) Profiling (a psychometric tool that purports one’s learning preference) through Block Chain, Artificial Intelligence (Data, Textual, Auditory and Video [DTAV] Analytics), Supervised, Unsupervised and Reinforcement Learning. He is also into Conscious and Unconscious Learning through Games. He is currently working on various AI projects with Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, GSK Singapore, as well as consultancy work with SIM GE and ITE College East. He has also extended his skills and knowledge in this area through various consultancy works. Edtrix Solutions is a reseller and distributor of iSpringSolutions software in Singapore
