What's This Course About

Build interactive websites and web apps with AI Vibe Coding for Javascript. This hands-on 1-day course teaches you how to use AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude to write, debug and refactor JavaScript. Instead of memorising syntax and browser APIs, you will vibe code — describing what you want in plain language and letting AI generate the JavaScript while you shape the behaviour and design.

Through practical projects, participants will add interactivity to web pages, handle events and the DOM, work with APIs and JSON, and build and deploy a small JavaScript app — all with an AI pair programmer at their side. You will also learn to review, test and improve AI-generated code so your scripts stay clean, correct and fast. By the end of the course, you will be able to build interactive JavaScript features faster with an effective AI vibe-coding workflow.

Shahul Maricar is a certified trainer. Shahul H. Maricar has been a content developer and webmaster, building educational websites and applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. He then served as an IT analyst, writing programs for automating custom workflows as well as data extraction and analysis in the healthcare field.
He is currently a freelance educator and is actively involved with development projects in game programming, computer-aided design and computer graphics.

Fritz is ACTA-certified, as well as a registered MOE instructor, and a graduate of the 2018 ConsenSys Blockchain Developer Program, with a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Computer Specialisation) from Nanyang Technological University.
With more than 10 years of experience teaching at a local polytechnic, Fritz is passionate about imparting knowledge to teens, adults, and children. The coverage for the content was slow in the morning. The knowledge was relevant though and was well covered. In the afternoon, due to the lack of time, the content was rushed through. DOM was not well explained and hence knowledge was not taken away.

To improve on the delivery of DOM.
