WordPress Masterclass teaches you how to build, manage and maintain professional websites with WordPress, the world's most popular content management system. WordPress powers a large share of all websites, from blogs and business sites to online stores, because it is flexible, scalable and easy to update without coding. This masterclass is designed for business owners, marketers, communications staff, freelancers and anyone who wants to create and manage their own website with confidence.

You will start with an overview of the WordPress CMS, setting up a site, understanding the dashboard, users and settings, and creating pages and posts with the block editor. Next you will manage multimedia content on WordPress, adding and optimising images, video, audio and galleries, and organising content with categories, tags and menus. You will then manage site appearance, choosing and customising themes, using the site editor, templates and patterns, and adding widgets and plugins to extend your site's functionality.

The final topic covers maintaining your WordPress web design, including updates, backups, security, performance optimisation, basic SEO and managing forms and comments. You will also learn how AI tools can help you draft content and design pages faster. Every topic is hands-on, so you finish with a working website you have built yourself and can keep improving. By the end of the masterclass, you will be able to create, customise and maintain a professional WordPress website independently.

Kesston Tang is a seasoned consultant and trainer with expertise in business negotiations, financial analysis, and corporate advisory services. He has developed consulting frameworks that support organizations in improving negotiation outcomes, optimizing business deals, and managing stakeholder relations. His clients include major corporations and government agencies, where he has provided advisory services in both local and international contexts.

Fritz is ACTA-certified, as well as a registered MOE instructor, and a graduate of the 2018 ConsenSys Blockchain Developer Program, with a Bachelor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Computer Specialisation) from Nanyang Technological University.
With more than 10 years of experience teaching at a local polytechnic, Fritz is passionate about imparting knowledge to teens, adults, and children. He believes that an education in technology and in how things work is essential for everyone, so that they can harness and invent the technologies of the future. He is excited about exploring anything related to computers and IT, with a keen interest in electronics and native cross-platform mobile app development so that our ubiquitous mobile phones can be conveniently used to control and interact with devices wirelessly and over the Internet.

Patrick Foo is a ACTA certified trainer. In 2010, Patrick earned his Advanced Search Engine Marketing Certification from Search Engine Academy, USA, and started Business Online Centre, a one-stop solution business for SMEs looking for online presence. Services range from domain registration, hosting, web design, Internet (SEO/SEM) and Facebook marketing. He has been conducting website design classes (public and corporate) since 2011, using popular open-source platforms like Joomla
Prior to his online career, Patrick, with his UK Accountancy and Computer Science qualifications, worked as an accountant, business solutions consultant/manager and professional services manager (PSM), specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning [ERP], Customer Relationship Management [CRM] and Business Intelligence [BI].

James Lee Kin Nam is a ACTA certified trainer. James has more than 20 years of progressive training experience in both corporate enterprises and educational institutes. He is certified by Adobe as an Adobe Certified Expert, Instructor and Web Specialist. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP Certified Trainer / Assessor) in adult training. He is also an MOE Registered Instructor. Graduated in the area of Computer Studies and Multimedia Development, he specializes in graphics, animation and web technologies.
He was a former Adjunct Lecturer for Singapore Polytechnic, Web Developer for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Social Media & Content Specialist for Equinet Academy. He is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group.
He has guided many users in the usage of Adobe applications and website development to achieve greater heights in their career advancement.
