Python sits at the centre of much of Dr. Alfred Ang's AI work, from data science labs to generators that produce entire sets of training documents. A full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect, he is Managing Director, CIO, CTO and Chief Instructional Designer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd and the founder of Tertiary Courses. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from NUS, an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from NTU, a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics from NUS and a Graduate Diploma in Intelligent Robotics Systems from NUS-ISS, and he is a Microsoft Certified Data Scientist (DP-100) and AI Engineer Associate (AI-102) as well as an IBM certified instructor for the AI Practitioners course. Among his 300+ public GitHub repositories are several Python and Streamlit applications that show what this course aims for. His WSQ courseware generator is an AI-powered platform built with the Claude Agent SDK and Streamlit that automates the creation of lesson plans, learner guides, slides and assessments. A companion Streamlit app prepares WSQ and CASL course proposals with Claude Code content generation, and another generates branded SOP Word documents complete with Graphviz org charts and flowcharts. For newcomers to data work, his data-mining-ml-labs repository provides interactive Python and Streamlit labs on data mining and machine learning. He is also an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, and he has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and co-invented more than 20 US patents.
AI Vibe Coding with Python is designed for learners who already know basic Python and want to build real applications faster by working with an AI assistant. Dr. Ang starts by having learners describe small functional programs in plain English and guide an assistant to produce clean, working code, then review the data structures, algorithms and library choices it makes. Learners then deploy their apps on Streamlit, the same framework behind several of his own tools, so that their work becomes a shareable web application rather than a script on a laptop. Later topics move into object-oriented design, where he shows how to prompt for well-structured classes and refactor generated code, followed by database integration and robust error handling. Throughout, he treats the AI as a capable pair programmer whose output still needs to be read, tested and understood, a habit drawn from building production systems across AWS, Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines. As an ACTA-certified trainer and DACE-certified curriculum developer, he keeps sessions practical: short explanations, live demonstrations and guided labs in which every learner leaves with a working, deployed Python app they built themselves. Learners also pick up prompting patterns that carry over to any future Python project, from data utilities to small internal tools. He also shows how to explore an unfamiliar library with the assistant's help before committing to it. Solomon Soh is a data scientist and AI trainer with a strong record of teaching and mentoring in Python programming, data analytics and machine learning. As a Data Science Trainer with IBM Singapore, he has coached teams on natural language processing, computer vision and chatbot projects, earning a 96% learner satisfaction rating. A Certified AI Engineer Associate by AI Singapore and an ACTA-certified trainer, he has trained and coached over 100 professionals in data science, Python and coding. His industry roles at Workforce Optimizer, Certis Cisco, Ernst & Young and IQVIA centred on Python-driven analytics.
In AI Vibe Coding with Python, Solomon brings his Python teaching and hands-on analytics experience to a prompt-driven way of building software. Learners with foundational Python knowledge build functional apps with vibe coding, deploy them on Streamlit, create object-oriented applications, integrate databases and handle errors gracefully. Having applied Python to real operational problems in industry, he helps learners write prompts grounded in concrete requirements and review AI-generated code critically before relying on it. Participants leave able to use AI coding assistants to move quickly from idea to working Python application, while understanding the code well enough to debug and extend it themselves.
Bernard Peh is a data scientist and financial services professional with more than two decades of experience in data analytics, visualisation and business intelligence. As Senior Partner and Lead Data Scientist at Big Data Venture Capital, he has led consulting projects, curriculum development and training operations for blue-chip firms, equipping professionals with practical skills in Python, Microsoft Power BI and advanced data analytics. His technical work covers data acquisition, cleaning, feature engineering, ETL and visualisation. He is a certified adult educator holding the WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP), and has delivered numerous data science courses through NTUC LearningHub and other training providers.
In AI Vibe Coding with Python, Bernard draws on his hands-on Python and data background to help learners who already know the basics move on to building working applications through a prompt-driven, AI-assisted workflow. The course takes participants from functional Python apps to object-oriented designs, deployment on Streamlit, database integration and structured error handling. His focus on practical, real-world scenarios helps learners judge and refine the code an AI assistant produces rather than accept it blindly, so they leave able to build, test and deploy Python solutions faster and with more confidence in their own workplace projects.
Noel Lou is an ACTA-certified trainer and experienced mentor with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Noel's technical skills include iOS, Unity3D and Python, together with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, and this mix of development and productivity tools is complemented by strong customer service skills. As a mentor, Noel focuses on helping learners build confidence through practice, an approach that suits hands-on programming courses where learners work on real applications.
In AI Vibe Coding with Python, Noel brings this Python and mentoring experience to a modern, prompt-driven approach to development for learners with foundational Python knowledge. Learners build functional Python apps with vibe coding and deploy them on Streamlit, then build object-oriented Python apps. The course continues with database integration and error handling using vibe coding, so that applications are both useful and robust. Throughout, Noel encourages participants to read, test and question the code that AI tools generate, so they understand what they are shipping rather than simply accepting it. Learners leave able to rapidly build, deploy and improve Python applications using AI assistance while keeping their core programming skills sharp.
Dr Alvin Ang is an ACTA-certified trainer whose focus and interest lie in real-world data science. He earned his PhD, Masters and Bachelors degrees from NTU, Singapore, and was previously a Principal Consultant (Data Science) as well as an Assistant Professor. He also spent eight years as an adjunct lecturer at SUSS. Although he is an operational researcher by study, his passion for practical applications outweighs his academic background, and he owns a startup of his own alongside his teaching.
In AI Vibe Coding with Python, Dr Ang brings this practical, application-first outlook to prompt-driven development. Learners who already know foundational Python work through building functional Python apps with vibe coding, deploying them on Streamlit, structuring object-oriented applications, integrating databases and handling errors gracefully. His consulting and lecturing experience helps learners judge AI-generated code critically rather than accepting it blindly, and frame each prompt around a real problem instead of a toy exercise. By the end of the course, participants can direct AI coding assistants to produce working Python applications, review and refine what the assistant writes, and carry the same workflow into their own data and business projects.
