Trainers
Shirley Qiu is one of the founders of EP-Academy and is a primary trainer. She obtained an ACTA (Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment) certificate and was certified as a John Maxwell coach, teacher, trainer and speaker.
Shirley Qiu graduated from the IT background and got MBA in the University of Birmingham in 1999. She worked as an engineer, involved in the development of MIS (Management Information System) for different enterprises in early years. She worked for companies under Sime Darby group on the ERP system development, implementation and maintenance. After that, she joined HP Singapore as an IT consultant. In 2003, she started to help EP-Asia group to establish business in China.
With many years working experience, Shirley is familiar with the business operation in different industries under different culture, understand the challenges in different functional departments at different stages. Many years of being a general manger and country manager, let her notice the importance of right values in organizations and personal growth. In this way, she is committed to the training of leadership, personal growth and corporate culture. The purpose is to bring enterprises to the road of success and to enable more people to grow their lives through training beyond traditional methods.
Robert Choo has spent more than 30 years working in large American and European MNC, holding various senior management positions and overseeing Asia business. When he was Managing Director of Asia for Ingenico, the market leading provider of payment solutions, he traveled extensively to countries in SE Asia, Japan and South Korea. Robert had worked in many top IT companies such as EMC, IBM, and Silicon Graphics.
Besides holding leadership position in the corporate world, Robert has been in the board of director of his church for more than 12 years. He is presently the chairman of the Fund Strategy of the church community organisation and assist in raising funds to help disadvantaged families.
For his leisure time, Robert who holds 2nd Dan in Akido, conducts Akido training at a Dojo in the community centre. Robert graduates with First Class Honours in Electronics Engineering at the National university of Singapore in 1987 and also has MBA in International Business from Nanyang Technological Institute
