This course address the following Technical Skills and Competences (TSCs) and proficiency level:  Data Storytelling and Visualisation FSE-DAT-5020-1.1 Level 5 TSC under Financial Services Skills Framework

Steps to Apply Skills Future Claim

  • The staff will send you an invoice with the fee breakdown.
  • Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling on and enter the course date and schedule.
  • Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim.
  • Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

The Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) is a training benefit provided to NTUC Union Members with an objective of encouraging them to upgrade with skills training. Dr Alvin Ang's teaching style was very engaging and relatable, quoting examples that are close to our daily jobs which allowed even a newbie like me to understand the benefits of using Tableau. From the way he explains the technical concepts to leading us through the practical exercises, it is obvious that he is very passionate about data analytics and what it may bring in the future. There was never a dull moment even when exchanging casual conversations during lunchtime and we were encouraged to show our works while helping one another out to ensure no one is left behind throughout the course. Course duration needs to be longer as there are too much to learn from Dr Alvin. Dr Alvin is very knowledgeable and great insights. Completed the links between Data Analytics/ Science/ to BI and AI. Great instructor with a good sense of humour, and so much to share.
