Turn data into insight with Data Analytics with R. This hands-on 1-day course teaches you the fundamentals of data analytics using R, the popular language for statistics and data science. You will learn to load, clean, explore and visualise data, and run basic statistical analysis to answer real questions.

Through practical exercises, participants will import and tidy datasets, compute summaries, create charts, and perform basic statistical tests using R and packages like the tidyverse. By the end of the course, you will be able to use R to analyse data and communicate insights clearly.

He has extensive hands-on experience developing predictive models, RShiny dashboards, and deep learning solutions using R, Python, TensorFlow, and Keras. With a strong professional background in healthcare, finance, and customer analytics, Dwight brings an applied perspective to teaching AI, focusing on both the opportunities and risks of emerging technologies.

Dr Alvin Ang is a ACTA certified trainer. Dr. Alvin Ang did his Ph.D., Masters and Bachelors from NTU, Singapore. Previously he was a Principal Consultant (Data Science) as well as an Assistant Professor. He was also 8 years SUSS adjunct lecturer. His focus and interest is in the area of real world data science. Though an operational researcher by study, his passion for practical applications outweigh his academic background. He owns a startup externally.

Well the lesson was well conducted however some of the information was assumed that it should be known. However some of my friends do not have programming background. I think only further improvement needed is to translate some / more of the course information to more layman terms for them (Posted on 7/9/2016)

Thank you for employing such a good lecturer .

The flow of the course is so smooth. Within such a short period, able to absorb so many thing.

Even the script was prepared and we do not need to worry that did not have the time to copy. We can always refer back.

The example given was useful.

Apart from that, I attended NUS-ISS Predictive Analytic Course(3 days course) half year ago. It was nowhere near what Mr Ravi taught.

Kindly let me know all the courses that taught by him so that I can attend.

Just get to know that he also taught R Machine Learning. I am very interested but would not be able to join within short period because I signed 4 courses with you this month.

I need show to management that I able to apply the R language in work. Then easier for me to justify for the course after 2 months.
