Build a RAG Chatbot with n8n shows you how to create an AI chatbot that answers questions accurately from your organisation's own documents and data. Generic chatbots only know what their AI model was trained on, so they fall short when asked about your products, policies or procedures; Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solves this by retrieving relevant information from your knowledge base and giving it to the AI before it answers. The course is designed for business users, operations and IT professionals, and anyone who wants to build practical AI assistants without heavy coding.

You will start by understanding RAG chatbots, learning how embeddings, vector databases and retrieval work, how RAG reduces hallucinations, and how to prepare and organise documents such as FAQs, manuals and policies for best results. You will see where RAG chatbots add value in customer service, HR, internal help desks and sales support. Next you will build a RAG chatbot with n8n, creating workflows that load and chunk documents, generate embeddings, store them in a vector database and connect an AI agent that retrieves the right information to answer questions.

Throughout the course you will also learn how to test and improve answer quality, add memory and source citations, embed the chatbot in a website or chat app and keep data secure. Every step is hands-on in n8n. By the end, you will be able to build, deploy and maintain a RAG chatbot that gives accurate, trustworthy answers grounded in your own knowledge.

Deric Yeak is the Founder and Director of Lefty Talents Group (www.leftygroup.com). Lefty Talents Group is a software development, design and digital marketing company that leverages on new technologies as the key driver to create compelling ideas to realize visions.
Having MNCs and established local SMEs as their clientele, Deric has experience in digital advertising and leveraging on new Infocomm Technology (ICT) to develop mobile and web applications to transform businesses to embrace the 4th Industrial Revolution (Cyber-physical Systems.
Passionate in product development and teaching, Deric trains tech start-ups using Design Sprint, a problem-solving methodology from Google Ventures in accelerator programs and hackathons. He is also a regular judge for NUS post-graduate MBA courses.
Prior to that, he was a trader and stockbroker in the equity market where he developed an algorithm for his own personal investments. Apart from financial services, Deric also worked in manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods as well as the offshore and marine sectors. He held engineering positions in regional sales, costing and project management.
Deric is WSQ ACTA qualified Adult Educator and an alumni of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), graduating with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Honours) degree.

Truman Ng is a ACTA certified trainer that graduated with Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from NUS in year 2002. He designed Artificial Intelligence (AI) controller for DC-DC Power Convertor by using Fuzzy Logic and Neural Network (NN) as his university Final Year Project.
Truman has over 15 years project experiences across Database & Web Design, PLC machinery, Data Center Design , Structure Cabling System(SCS) and Enterprise Network Design and Implementation. He used to be a network architect for Hewlett Packard, working with a group of virtual team from the US in handling network design and projects in the States.
Truman is the founder of Nexplore (S) Pte Ltd. He provides solutions of Cloud SaaS, IaaS & PaaS and Software Defined Network (SDN), VoIP and Internet Security.
