Jun Holiday Special - Robotics Car Workshop for Kids (2 Sessions)

Robotics is a fun-filled and hands-on activity that improves creative and analytical thinking skills. Building a robot together with parents and kids s also a fun activity for family bonding. .

This coming June holiday in Singapore, we wanted to create somethings special for our parent & kids (below 15 years old) . Let's build our very own first DIY robotic car in one day

At the end of the day, we will have a robotic car racing competition. Winner will get a special price from us.

Certificate

All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Courses after achieved at least 75% attendance.

Each pair of parent and kid will get an Arduino Robotics Car Kit for this course

Trainers

Robotics Trainer

Ms Eve Tan has been in 3D industry for 4 years. She is one and only Asian modulator in
Josef Prusa facebook support team. She is also nominated for Woman in 3D Printing Singapore Ambassador in promoting event and seminar to let all women stay connected.

Ms Eve is a graduate ACTA trainers in Singapore IAL institute and currently conducting 3D Printing and scanning for skill future and WDA course.. She have graduate from ACC Institute of Human Services obtain Psychology Counselling, Singapore Polytechnic in CEO, she also ongoing her part-time upgrading on Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in Post-Graduate Programs, she is keen on learning and upgrading herself during her spare time.
She has been doing all support and teaching to all buyer which they have purchase Prusa MK2,MK2S,MK3.
She also created her own 3D Home Desk Machine which is easy to fix and user friendly and with special feature of Non Break printing module in her own 3D printer in 2014.

She is proficient in :

Arduino TrainerFerris is a practitioner who preaches what he teaches. Concept being taught in his experiential workshops are associated with real-life examples of electronics and mechatronics systems that he designs and build. These systems can be found in places such as Changi Airport (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjzRHjDDxr0) and Singapore Science Centre. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdjzDVBQUAg)/ Ferris was a Senior Technician in the Republic of Singapore Air Force for six years. Following that he was a System Engineer as well as a Software Team Leader in DSO National Laboratories for nineteen years, working on Electronic and Computer Systems.

Ferris is currently the Lead Engineer as well as Master Trainer at 3E Gadgets Pte. Ltd. He provides electronics and mechatronics engineering solutions for public events and exhibitions. He had conducted customised workshops for participants to create their own electronic gadgets.

Ferris is a registered MOE (Ministry of Education) trainer as well as a registered PA (People’s Association) trainer and had conducted the following experiential workshops for the public and in schools.

Robotics TrainerYing Fei is a MOE registered trainer. She has more than 1 year of experience in teaching. She is teaching both primary and secondary school using Arduino, Raspberry Pi’s scratch, NXT and EV3. She also run programs on microcontroller such as PIC. She have done 3D printing projects using 123D and Tinkercad.

Arduino TrainerKen Yuen has more than 10 years of experience working as an instructor, Application Development Engineer, Technical Consultant and Project Manager. He is an MOE-Registered Instructor teaching STEM programs for past 3 years such as Arduino, Micro:bits and robotics to schools and libraries based on the smart nation initiative roadmap.

He completed his Diploma in Electronic Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic and graduated with Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and certified PMP (Project Management Professional).

Robotics Python TrainerMing Liang is an up-and-coming developer with expertise ranging from deep learning to hardware like the raspberry pi. He specialises mostly in the area of data science and machine learning and has won several hackathons and is ranked highly in international competitions. Furthermore, he has also done projects as part of the maker community in Singapore and build his own 3D printer as well

Raspberry Pi TrainerSM Chan is an experienced electronics veteran. He has more than 20 years experience in the electronics industry and worked in a number of MNCs such as IBM, Seagate, Broadcom etc. He has a lot of experience in electronics, Raspberry Pi, C, C++, Python and Perl programmings.
