mBot is an all-in-one solution to enjoy the hands-on experience of programming, electronics, and roboticis for kids and students. It is based on an open-platform Arduino processor board and can be program graphically using mBlock without writing a single line of code.

Each kid will get a set of mbot kit..

Duration Per Session : 1.5 hrs (7pm to 8:30pm)
Start on beginning of every month - Thursday
Class Size: 5-10 pax
Min Pax: 5 kids
Age Group: 9 - 15 years old

Course Details

Topic 1 Getting Started with Robotics

This session gives a brief exposure about the robot, takes participants through the robot building process, gives brief overview of its functionality and strengthens fundamental concepts.

Topic 2 Basic Programming - Project 1 and Project 2

This session briefs on the basic mBot projects to start programming the robot as desired.

Topic 3 Motion Control and Programming - Project 3

This session introduces the concepts of motion control of the robot.

Topic 4Obstacle Avoidance and Line Patrol Programming - Project 4 and Project 5

This session expands on the trivial obstacle avoidance and line patrolling programs through projects.

SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) - Eligible Singapore-registered companies can tap on $10000 SFEC to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expense
SkillsFuture Credit: All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for a wide range of approved skills-related courses.
IBF-STS Companies and Singaporeans/PR can apply IBF-STS 70-90% funding depending on eligibility
UTAP: NTUC members enjoy 50% subsidy for unfunded course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under UTAP
