AI-901 Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals prepares you for the Microsoft AI-901 certification exam, which validates foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts and the ability to build simple AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. The course introduces core AI workloads and shows how Microsoft Foundry and Azure AI services make them accessible to developers and business users alike. It is designed for students, business professionals, technical staff and anyone starting their AI journey on Azure, with no advanced data science background required.

The course follows the official exam domains. You will start by identifying AI concepts and capabilities, covering machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, speech, document intelligence and generative AI, along with responsible AI principles such as fairness, reliability, privacy, inclusiveness, transparency and accountability. You will learn how large language models, prompts, agents and retrieval-augmented generation work and where each type of AI workload delivers business value.

The second domain covers implementing AI solutions by using Microsoft Foundry, including exploring and deploying models, building and testing generative AI chat solutions and simple agents, and using Azure AI services for vision, language and speech tasks. Each topic combines explanation with hands-on exercises in the Azure portal and exam-style practice questions. By the end, you will understand the fundamentals of AI on Azure and be well prepared to pass the AI-901 exam.
