Master professional video editing from the ground up in this hands-on Adobe Premiere Pro Masterclass. Premiere Pro is the industry-standard editing tool trusted across film, broadcast, advertising and social media production. Starting from the principles of video theory, you will learn to import footage and media, transcode files to create proxies, and arrange your assets in a logical sequence—laying the foundation of an efficient, professional editing workflow.

The masterclass then moves into the core skills that shape a polished edit: logging and marking shots, trimming and pacing your cuts, and applying transitions. You will edit audio with volume keyframes and music, work with stills, graphics and effects, manipulate clip speed and perform colour correction. You will finish by adding text, reframing your project for different aspect ratios with auto re-frame, and exporting it in the right formats for delivery. By the end of the course, you will be able to confidently edit, grade and export professional-quality videos in Premiere Pro.

James Lee Kin Nam is a ACTA certified trainer. James has more than 20 years of progressive training experience in both corporate enterprises and educational institutes. He is certified by Adobe as an Adobe Certified Expert, Instructor and Web Specialist. He holds an Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP Certified Trainer / Assessor) in adult training. He is also an MOE Registered Instructor. Graduated in the area of Computer Studies and Multimedia Development, he specializes in graphics, animation and web technologies.
He was a former Adjunct Lecturer for Singapore Polytechnic, Web Developer for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Social Media & Content Specialist for Equinet Academy. He is currently an External Consultant & Training Associate at Boston Consulting Group.
He has guided many users in the usage of Adobe applications and website development to achieve greater heights in their career advancement. With his knowledge and experiences, James has the ability to explain and simplify complex concepts. He will be able to make positive contributions to your learning journey.

Sophia Novita was a lecturer for 4 years in Visual Communication Design before she moved to Singapore. As an enthusiast for education, aside from her full-time job, she puts aside her time to teach. Her skill sets are ranging from Adobe Software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro, to the word processor as well as Web Development.
