Search Engine Optimisation or SEO is the process of optimising a website to rank on top of the search engine results pages for highly targeted keywords. Organic search traffic is ranked one of the most effective digital marketing channels when it comes to converting qualified prospects into paying customers

Discover how to implement foundational optimisation strategies and techniques, including how to conduct keyword research, build internal and external links, optimize your pages and content, measure your successes and progress, and plan for a long-term SEO strategy.

This 2 day WSQ SEO course wil teach you how to apply SEO tools and techniques for the organisation's digital assets and content across channels and recommend improvements for SEO efforts

Learning Outcomes

By end of the course, learners should be able to

  • Evaluate SEO and internet marketing strategies of a website
  • Manage keyword research in alignment with SEO
  • Provide on-page SEO strategies and recommendations
  • Manage off-page SEO strategies and performance across multiple channels
  • Monitor google analytics dashboards and reports to evaluate SEO performances

Course Objectives

  • Learners will be able to manage and monitor SEO campaigns across channels and conduct analysis on performance of SEO campaigns.


Two certificates will be awarded to trainees who have demonstrated competency in the WSQ Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) assessment and achieved at least 75% attendance.

  • WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) – RET-OTO-4005-1.1 Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) under the Retail Skills Framework issued by WSG
  • Certification of Achievement by Tertiary Infotech Pte Ltd 

WSQ 80%-95% Funding

WSQ funding is only applicable to Singaporeans and PR. Subject to eligibility, the funding support is from 80% -95% subject to funding caps.
