Domain 1 Configure field service applications (22.5%)
- Configure core Field Service components: security for standard user groups, territories/postal codes/organizational units, characteristics & proficiency models, resource roles/categories, Field Service settings, trades & trade coverages, not-to-exceed values, Copilot summary
- Configure product and service pricing, minimum charge amounts/durations, pricing rules, price lists
- Configure bookable resources: frontline workers, start/end locations, pay types & rates, working hours, time off, technician time tracking, facilities/equipment
- Configure scheduling of multiple resources: requirement group templates, resource pools and crews, schedule board visualization
- Integrate other tools with Field Service: Dynamics 365 Remote Assist, Dynamics 365 Guides, Field Service Portal
Domain 2 Manage work orders and customer assets (27.5%)
- Configure the work order lifecycle: work order types/resolutions, booking status and sub-status values
- Create and manage work orders, including price list/SLA/entitlement association, closing/resolution, and Copilot-in-Outlook creation
- Manage incidents: incident types & suggestions, requirement group templates, service tasks, products/services
- Create and manage agreements: agreement configuration, automatic work order generation, booking setup, invoicing, entitlements
- Manage inspections: inspection templates, association with work orders/customer assets, standalone inspections
- Configure customer assets: creation/management, automatic asset creation, child assets, 3D asset models, functional locations, property templates
Domain 3 Schedule and dispatch work orders (17.5%)
- Manage scheduling options: schedule board and schedule assistant, fulfillment preferences, quick scheduling, multi-day resource requirements, appointments
- Configure, customize, and manage schedule boards, including the Requirements panel and board settings
- Configure the schedule assistant: settings, filtering constraints, troubleshooting
- Configure Universal Resource Scheduling: enabling scheduling on a table, geocoding, booking timestamps/journals/actuals
Domain 4 Manage the Field Service mobile app (7.5%)
- Deliver work orders via the mobile app: completing tasks/bookings/follow-ups/signatures/images/technician reports
- Service and maintain customer assets including IoT devices; perform inspections and ad hoc inspections
- Manage working offline and perform time entry; launch related apps (Remote Assist, Guides)
- Set up the mobile app: security roles, form/view/page/navigation customization, location tracking & geofencing
- Configure mobile offline profiles, push notifications, barcode features, and technician service reports
Domain 5 Manage inventory and purchasing by using the built-in inventory management system (7.5%)
- Set up inventory and warehouses; view and adjust product inventory levels
- Transfer inventory between warehouses; manually update inventory via inventory journals
- Create purchase orders and receivable product lists
- Create return merchandise authorizations, return-to-vendor transactions, and finalize returns
Domain 6 Implement Microsoft Power Platform (7.5%)
- Configure model-driven apps: create and configure forms and views
- Configure navigation for model-driven apps
- Create task-specific canvas apps and custom pages; embed apps in Field Service
- Use Power Automate cloud flows to automate tasks and enhance Field Service
