Trainers
Jyoti Chopra has professional experience in teaching Autocad, 3DsMax and Revit in a recognized teaching institute. She has been rAutoCad teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching designing principles and introducing students to designing softwares. She has experience as Architectural Designer performing design, simulation and drafting of various residential and landscape projects in Singapore. Her skillsets are AutoCAD, Revit, 3Ds Max. Adobe Photoshop and Furniture Design, Graphics, Sketching and 2D/3D Simulation. She is also Autodesk Certified Professional (Autocad)
Sven J Norris received his BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff in 2000 and completed his Masters in Computer Arts at
Thames Valley University (now University of West London) in 2002. He has worked as a freelancer, contractor and full-time employee in industry within the fields of new media, designing and development where he created screen-based experiences and content for companies and agencies including Arc Worldwide, Leo
Burnett Group, Reuters, McKinsey & Co, and Tidal Wave in England. Sven spent 7 years as Assistant Professor of Interactive Media Nanyang Technological University’s School of Art, Design & Media (ADM) in Singapore and was the area coordinator for Interactive Media for some of this period.
Most recently, he has founded an independent design studio Vithereal Pte. Ltd. focusing on 3D Visualization, Product Design and Web Development while
continuing to teach as an Adjunct Lecturer at the above-mentioned ADM in Singapore as well as a degree program in NTU’s Electronic Engineering faculty.
He teaches and practices in the areas of:

Bernard Chan have been using the Autodesk software are more than 20 years since its launch. He works in reseller software company for 20 years, his responsibility was to provide support to the AEC industry (customer from Architecture, Engineering and Construction company). He train them how to use the software they purchase (Autodesk Revit (3 discipline), AutoCAD and Navisworks). Support them when they have issue with the product. From time to time need to follow the salesman to promote and demo the software to client, webinar and presentation. Currently working as an adjunct trainer in BCA Academy, also Authorised training centre training adult learner, customise course to suit individual / company needs.

Course structure covered all the necessary area of the 3ds Max UI and workflow. Ive attended an earlier course (SketchUp) with you and believe I went away with better knowledge of the software. I left the SketchUp course equipped with the basic skills to start and get better at it over time.1. Do you find the course meet your expectation? 2. However, I was not impressed with my recent attendance for 3DS Max. It left me with more Questions and we were not able to complete every module properly due to technical issues. I have no doubt the trainer has good experience. But we were restricted by different software versions.
I assume the trainer was using Tertiary Infotech issued laptop installed w/ the latest 3DS Max software. The trainer however is more familiar with an older version of it. Plug-ins for camera, surface materials, rendering could not be used by him nor us due to different versions. Another student also came with a laptop not installed with the software and some considerable time was needed to set it up for him.
There were many times we paused either to resolve technical matters or allow the trainer time to familiarize w/ a different 3DS Max version.
I felt I did not leave the course equipped with necessary skills to do my own hands-on. If the students had known what to prepare (i.e installing the right 3DS Max version) the course would have run smoother and be better equipped by the end of it. Im contemplating attending the 2-day Rhino course but worried if we end up facing similar issues and not having the proper skills after paying the course fee. Appreciate your response. Inform the students, prior to course date, which version of 3DS max to install to avoid some minor problems like I cannot open the sample file because it's created using version 2017 and I am using 2016.
