What's This Course About

This interactive escape room experience introduces kids to the wonders of science through engaging hands-on puzzles and challenges inside a themed laboratory setting. Participants work together to solve clues related to chemistry, physics, and basic scientific principles as they race against time to restore power to the lost science lab. Each puzzle encourages curiosity, logical thinking, and teamwork, turning abstract science concepts into fun and memorable experiences.

Through problem-solving activities such as connecting circuits, sorting states of matter, identifying simple chemical reactions, and decoding scientific symbols, children will strengthen their understanding of STEM fundamentals in an enjoyable and dynamic format. The Lost Science Lab Escape Room offers an exciting approach to learning, sparking interest in science while nurturing creativity, confidence, and critical thinking skills.

Micro:Bit Trainer Stephen is a veteran of the software industry with more than 30 years of experience in various functions including Application Development, Project Management, and Research and Development. He has a proven track record of successfully building embedded systems, mobile applications and commercial business systems. Stephen started his career as a software engineer and has experience in developing software using a wide range of modern technologies. Later he ventured into cutting-edge web solutions and related technologies, where he created marketing Web sites for both large and small businesses. As Head of Department and Manager, he has been involved with various functions including Strategic Planning, Application Development, Project Management, Research and Development, Operation, Training and Budgeting. He has been involved in supervising computer operations and implementing IT solutions in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Houston, London, Munich, Greece, Belgium, Sydney, Shanghai, New Delhi and Bombay. Stephen has been a professional Web consultant and trainer since then, and has worked with almost every Web technology including XML, CMS, HTML, PHP, C, Python and Java. Besides software technology, his area of expertise also includes consumer electronics gadgets. In his spare time, he indulges in activities you would expect of a gadget geek. Stephen loves all types of gizmos and wants to share his passion with everyone. In addition to his love for electronics gadgets, he also enjoys photography and making videos when not at work. Finally, Stephen graduated with a Master degree in Management Business in Information Technology and an Advanced Diploma in Software Technology. In addition, he also holds a Specialist Diploma in Visual Effects, Specialist Diploma in E-Commerce and the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) qualification. Micro:Bit TrainerGabriel is an avid electronics enthusiast who is a big believer of the maker movement. He experiences great joy in imparting his knowledge of electronics and programming to other people as he believes it is an honour to share and see how his students grows as individuals with their new skills.Building cool projects such as Smart Rubbish Bin and building new electronics kits he hopes to rise to new heights of success with his students. Micro:Bit  TrainerKen Yuen has more than 10 years of experience working as an instructor, Application Development Engineer, Technical Consultant and Project Manager. He is an MOE-Registered Instructor teaching STEM programs for past 3 years such as Arduino, Micro:bits and robotics to schools and libraries based on the smart nation initiative roadmap. He completed his Diploma in Electronic Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic and graduated with Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and certified PMP (Project Management Professional). Micro:Bit TrainerWesley Tan graduated with a Master of Business in IT from the RMIT (Australia). Currently, founder of technology service company based in Singapore catering e-commence, RFID-based, iOT and asset tracking and trace solutions, consulting and project delivery. He specializes in Excel for both basic and advance levels (ICDL certification from UK), conducting Joomla and e-commence (Virtue Mart) workshops. Micro:Bit  Trainer Mr Gerald Ong is keen on pursuing a facilitator / curriculum developer role in the Learning & Education Industry and is an MOE-Registered Instructor and a MOE-registered relief teacher. He has spent 6 years as a salesperson selling products and services to B2B and B2C customers. Through his journey as a salesperson, he learnt many technical and soft skills. He completed his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Singapore Polytechnic in 2007, and graduated with Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Murdoch University, Australia in 2014 and has recently completed his Cert IV in Training & Education from Australia-International Institute of Workplace Training, along with his WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment from Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore. He finished his primary and secondary education in both St Gabriel’s Primary & Secondary Schools.
