Ken Hiong has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry holding various functional and managerial roles in sales, marketing, business development, finance, business analysis and planning.
He graduated with a degree in Pharmacy and holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Adelaide.
He is an expert Excel user and has a keen interest in scripting and web development with practical knowledge of HTML, Javascript, CSS, PHP, MySQL, WordPress, VBA, amongst others. Applying these tools at work, he had simplified many work methodologies, improved data analysis and business reporting processes, achieved higher productivity and enhanced quality outcomes. He is an advocate of lifelong learning.
Khoo Yong graduated from NTU with a bachelor degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering. Currently, working as a principal engineer in one of the top 3 Semiconductor Manufacturing Pure-Play Foundry in the world, he is a statistician support Operations and Engineering, driving the Statistical Process Control Program in the Fab. He specializes in Statistics , basic Excel and advance Excel, including excel macro coding. He regularly conduct Statistical Process Control Courses in the company. He is a certified ACTA Trainer ( Advance Certificate in Training and Accessing) as well as a certified Black Belt.
Sanjiv i is an ACTA certified experienced leader with a proven track record in business / finance consulting and in developing i) business intelligence (BI) solutions ii) data analytics/analysis solutions and iii) IOT lead BI solutions.
Sanjiv is also known for his strong presentation and communication skills and being able to communicate complex topics in a simple and elegant way. His goal through Prudentia Consulting, is to promote the simple joy and excitement of actively using the Microsoft Platform. He believes that the agility afforded by the Microsoft platform helps businesses get time back for deeper business thinking and to spend more time with their end customers
Sanjiv has spent a little over 20 years across North America (17 years) and Asia Pacific (3.5 years) with rich experiences in diverse/complex high-tech businesses, turn around environments and strategic transformations. His functional expertise is in sales analytics, financial planning and analysis, engineering and program management. He has worked across discrete manufacturing, professional services and higher education verticals. He also has a working knowledge of equities portfolio management within the financial services domain.
Sanjiv is the CEO of Prudentia Consulting, an organization committed to promoting the active usage of the Microsoft Platform. Prior to this, he has worked at Microsoft (US & APAC: 9.2 years), Cognizant Tech Solutions (3.3 years), Yazaki North America (8 years) and until recently at Oracle.
Below are a few of his BI/analytics projects driven at scale:
- Built APAC wide BI dashboard using the Power BI umbrella tool set (Power BI online, Power BI desktop and Power Pivot) and a KPI lake (SQL DB)
- Helped develop key KPIs – identified key KPIs and helped land this in the DB
- Developed a budget audit tool that captured budget inputs from a host of countries across the globe
- Developed a business unit P&L reporting tool (functional architecture) in Business Objects for the world-wide financial planning and analysis team
Dr. Alfred Ang is the founder of Tertiary Courses. He is a serial entrepreneur. He founded OSWeb2Design Singapore Pte Ltd in 2007 offering web development, e-commerce store development, graphics design, ebook publishing, mobile apps development, and digital marketing services. He established the first online gardening store in Singapore, Eco City Hydroponics Pte Ltd in 2000, offering a wide range of gardening products such as seeds, plant nutrients, hydroponics kits etc. Eco City Hydroponics has become the most popular and successful gardening store in Singapore. He founded Tertiary Infotech Pte Ltd in 2012 and transformed the business to a training platform, Tertiary Courses in 2014. Tertiary Courses offers a wide range of SkillsFuture courses for PMETs to upgrade their skills and knowledge. He also established Tertiary Courses Malaysia in 2016. He also founded Tertiary Robotics in 2015 offering Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Microbit and Robotics products
Dr. Alfred Ang earned his Ph.D. from National University of Singapore in 2000, majoring in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He also completed an online MBA course with U21 Global based in Australia. He obtained his B.Sc (Hons) from National University of Singapore in 1992, majoring in Physics. He topped his Physics cohort for 3 consecutive years and funded his degree study with Book prizes, Study awards, bursaries and tuition. He has worked in Defence, Electronics and Semiconductor Industries. His current interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Robotics and Programming.
Dr. Alfred Ang is ACTA certified trainer. He was Distinguished Toastmasters (DTM) and Senior Member of IEEE. He has published more than 20 peer reviewed papers and co-inventors for more than 20 inventions.
