Basic Therapeutic Gardening Course

This course encourages participants to use gardening, plants and plant-related activities in order to benefit their health and wellbeing.The course also focuses on the principles of plant care, the basics of hydroponics and how plants can even generate a side income. Candidates will be able make and take home a macramé rope plant hanger and a succulent that they have planted to start them on their gardening journey.


All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from Tertiary Courses after achieved at least 75% attendance.

Gardening TrainerMarla Lise worked in the Singapore National Parks for almost 2 years as a manager. She has a BSc (Hons) in Animal Science and her MSc is in Environmental Science. She has worked in NGOs around the world, focusing on sustainability, conservation and animal rehabilitation. Also learned gardening at a young age from her parents who are now around 70 and still avid gardeners. She is ACTA certified.
